Longevity Mostly I follow the Warren Buffet rule ' my favourite period for holding an investment is forever'Currently the share I have held for the longest period is James Halstead which I bought in 1999. It has risen nineteen times the price I paid for it. Recently I bought shares in Amur Minerals and then went shopping in Waitrose upon returning home seeing a decent rise in the price I sold themHorses for coursesBest wishesTHorndon 33
upwards nice rise in sp today.large bid/offer spread puts me off buying more.
Re: Discovery Wow, I admire your longevity! You've been on a real journey. Thanks, hopefully the board will begin to populate with other shareholders. Always nice to hear others thoughts and findings. All the best, James
Discovery Not quite, I have been a share holder since 2O03 and they have tripled during that timeI thank you for your detailed analysis which I agree withBEST WISHESThornton 33

Candidate for going bust? Their losses here seem unsustainable. They are relying on their Mechanical/Electrical subsidiary to keep them going.I don't think the market here is very strong. I think its just one those companies that close when the Auditors arrive.
