Re: Investment Think it was the other way round in that Metal Tiger bought NEW stock. Interesting that Metal Tiger price is also rising (up 10% today).

Investment I did notice New World O & G purchased just over 47 million shares in Metal Tiger last week, or just over 6% of the said company, so I'm wondering if there could it be a take over .Over 250 trades today prior to midday, with over 460 million shares traded, so there must be something going on.I did notice a sell at around 08.10 this morning of 5 million shares for £6k, and a buy 10 minutes later of 5 million for around £4.5k, a bit of manipulation...i wond

Re: Forward Selling of Placement Considering that NEW were around .15 before the drift down and then news of the placing then with £2 million seemingly in the accounts soon, plus whatever they recover from the debacle Niel deal and getting Kelleher to repay his loan then on cash alone we should be north of .20 I.e double from here.Factor in the hinted at impending deal and name the upside. A naked short you would not want to be!! Good luck all. Taken a punt here.

Forward Selling of Placement I'm surprised to see there hasn't been any discussion of the events since Wednesday and the incredible story that is unfolding here, which if I understand it correctly can be summarised as follows:NEW currently have just over 700 million shares in issue. On 29 April NEW announce a placing of 2.7 billion shares at 0.055p - a 45% discount to previous close!As the BOD currently has no authority to issue shares the placing is dependent on an EGM resolution being passed on 19 May (with shares being admitted to trading on 20 May).However, over the sessions following the RNS a staggering 3 billion shares were traded, so it is apparent that placing shares have been forward sold by those that took part in the placement and a huge naked short position has been built up.With EGM still to come and share issue subject to shareholder approval, forward sellers that recklessly flipped their stock (with the expectation of easy profit) are looking at the possibility that they will not receive placing shares to cover their positions.Forward sellers should now be scrambling to buy back their flipped stock in the market (at any price possible) and we are going to see the mother of all short squeezes ... the sp action should be explosive given the demand to buy back such a huge volume of shares with only 700 million currently in issue.Having lost a massive amount in NEW since 2011 I'm hoping to make some of it back if this is allowed to play out!

Kelleher gone now - reverse takeover coming So Bill Keleher gone and hope the company calls in the 149k that he owes us to add to the pot.Pleased he gone and new company being lined up in my view. Market cap circa 600k so upside massive with right deal done. Price rising so something happening.......

Reverse takeover? Think a reverse takeover coming. This is effectively a cash shell now with £2 million in cash and some prospective assets. They clearly have a deal lined up in oilfield sector and a new management team will take over too.Could be significant potential from here. Share consolidation will be part of deal in my view. Significant buying going on with buys around the .7p mark. Might come back for a dabble having abandoned previously in the Kelleher days.

Re: HEAVENS!!! e_u - well my definition of a good trading op doesnt include NEW with its squillions shares, and nothing but hope to support it. It isnt even a penny share! Its a busted flush in my view! we shall see - I wish you luck if thats your strategy.

And I see the relatively new CEO doesnt seem to have learnt anything form the previous hype merchant Bullsh*t Bill, and is telling the market how excited he is! BUYER BEWARE!!! The chart below illustrates what happens when the market finally sees through the hype! NEW doesn't need another hypemeister! AR-----Good trading op here .... especially with money we are owned.Buyer beware we are at 0.07p

And I see the relatively new CEO doesnt seem to have learnt anything form the previous hype merchant Bullsh*t Bill, and is telling the market how excited he is! BUYER BEWARE!!!
