Re: The placing wont get voted through of course it will ... they always go through!

Nikon1149 09 May 2015

Forgive me to breaking up the excitement, i'm just a little nervous as it's a complicated situation to understand and I just can't convince myself that there won't be some sort of mechanism to stop this being pursued by parties at risk here

Nikon1149 09 May 2015

As a newbie to this game, and invested in this share, as much as I am excited about the coming week I would like to see more discussion about issues like Vascular has raised. I want to be fully aware of the lines of thought possibly being followed by BOD and any parties that could stand to lose out here. I'm sure we all agree that this is obviously not a sustainable price increase so we should all be trying to figure out what's might happen to bring this down to earth BEFORE the EGM. Not saying it's gonna happen, but i'm a little worried at the lack of discussion on the variables in such a volatile situation

The placing wont get voted through That's the whole point here. The placing needs to be voted on at the up coming EGM. The investors IMO believed the resolution to issue the shares had been passed at the last AGM. It hadn't!Can you see 75% of holders of NEW shares voting in a placing that will destroy the share price due to the 0.05 placing price? Simple, it won't get voted through and the company will look to reaiae funds via other means, most likely a rights issue to current holders underwritten by an institution.Someone who has forward sold shares is desperate to buy them back. Sold 20m of them at 0.075 for a quick 50% profit so he thought. It will cost him several hundred thousand pounds to buy them back. There will be plenty more with the same problem.

Phew Well as I said the trend was definitely your friend!, amazing ride but for me I have taken a very substantial profit and exited for now.We are now at a crazy 10x placing price so the risk is now greater than potential reward for me as the buck will stop soon and then money off the table. But hey, if you are still riding the tiger - the best of luck. This has been one of those amazing opportunities that come along and if you catch just right you make a shed load of money 😀

Re: auto sells Why not have a stop loss on part of your holding only. Ps: the risk here is huge.

Re: auto sells If you're talking about stop losses (i.e., an instruction to sell at a given price below the current SP OR THE BEST PRICE AVAILABLE AFTER THE SP HAS DROPPED TO THIS LEVEL), I'm uncertain about whether that's wise heisenberg! If you mean a limit order to sell above the current SP than it's my understanding that the sale will only be triggered at a price AT LEAST as high as this.Re. stop losses, they are often risky with AIM stock because it tends to be more erratic and volatile than that with a main listing (I think people usually suggest setting limits at least 20% or so lower than the current SP). In THIS scenario, though, where it seems the MMs may well become very desperate for shares, they could be especially risky as they may resort to really nasty marked and rapid price depressions to trigger them. That said, it would be horrible if you lost more or less everything through not using one in the event, for instance, that the shares were suspended (which I realise the LSE has implied won't happen) and / or for there to be an open placing that collapses the SP. However, by way of the flip side, imagine how you'd feel if you bought at 0.005p and set a stop loss for 0.004p, only for the MMs to reduce the bid to 0.0039p for a millisecond - triggering your loss - before the price went on to double.way of a compromise, you could always set a stop loss (again - some way below the current SP) to sell only half your shares in the event it's triggered.Sorry if you were indeed talking about sell limit orders above the current SP and that came across as condescendingly trying to teach you how to suck eggs, so to speak!

auto sells Hello. Question I have set a price to sell was wondering if anyone has any idea if this is wise inregards to not getting a lower sell price than I have stated? Thanks

Re: Relentless!! The LSE and the FCA did NOTHING about the illegal amarket abuse and co-ordinated short selling of Quindelll sharesI would be very annoyed if they therefore do anything to help out the naked short sellers of NEW. Let these people burn and suffer the big losses they deserve. It's about time some of these people experineced some misery for a change.I HOPE THESE NAKED SHORT SELLERS HAVE LIFE CHANGING LOSSES FROM WHICH THEY WILL NEVER RECOVER
