Re: Alleged drought of NWOG stock "Why are they responsible for someone else buying up cheap shares?"Because it was through them that the placing was facilitated and those who partook of it (and maybe forward sold) did on the understanding they would pay a fixed price for them, i.e., what was to have been the placing price (0.05p)!Even if this could be circumvented, given that this whole insane price hike occurred as a result of Cornhill's and/or the NOMAD's false implicit though official statement that there were over four times as many shares in issue as there actually were, and as it seemed there were going to be for the foreseeable future (thus sowing the seed that a naked short squeeze was inevitable), they should surely not be allowed to benefit from this financially.
Re: Question The cash offer would be at the highest price paid in the preceding 12 months with some discretion by the take over panel to relax this rule. Apparently the highest price paid was .08p
Re: Alleged drought of NWOG stock why will they have no say if they own the shares? Why are they responsible for someone else buying up cheap shares?
PTV start looking really positive again GL if you take my advice earlier
risklassessor I sent a message from my account within hl site yesterday, - "NEW have released an RNS stating excess shares in their company that will not be settled. Could you check whether my NEW holding has settled or not. If it has i would like to register a proxy vote for the upcoming EGM of NO to both resolution 1 and 2. Thanks" - No reply still though.
Re: Alleged drought of NWOG stock "Why should Cornhill sell at .055p if the going rate is .3p say and there are buyers at that price?I presume because - as the agent fundamentally responsible for this mess - they'll have no say in the matter!
Re: Alleged drought of NWOG stock Why should Cornhill sell at .055p if the going rate is .3p say and there are buyers at that price? And if short sellers are forced to buy, why won't the price go even higher. And why should Judith allow a huge dilution at .055p?I'm assuming an open offer will be in proportion to shares held - the shorters hold none.
Re: Alleged drought of NWOG stock when people are telling that this can only go one way, they dont understand this.. avoid at all cost no one knows what this will do.. If I were Mrs chrisoil, Id be selling on these spikes to get out of the position
Re: Alleged drought of NWOG stock I've just read this article in which he asserts "All that can save the reckless forward sellers is for New World to issue more shares.", but this is exactly what NEW are going to do is it not? Furthermore, are they not going to be be placed at 0.055p - either by way of an open offer or with Cornhill underwriting the lot to the tune of £1.5 million - so that nothing will have changed (all positions will be covered and Cornhill will probably pick up the tab)? If so, how can this possibly be a buy? Surely Cornhill will be prohibited from 'hogging' them to drive up the price!
bought some peer tv PTV may help recover my losses here
