half year figures Well a year has passed & the picture has become clearer & the outlook looks very promising. After what has been a tough time for the share price last week’s share price rise after H1 figs was very welcome & I hope it continues for a little longer.
Re: half year figures In response to your Darbster44's request, my thoughts are that the results are reasonably positive but the long term impact of Matsoft on profitability is clearly not yet known so this does create uncertaintly. However, the company continues to describe this acquisition as transformational which suggests to me that the upside remains large. I'm not too bothered about dividends but I know alot of longer term shareholders would have bought this share with dividends in mind, so perhaps the very recent share price decline reflects sales from those people. I am happy to hold the shares to see how the business develops with Matsoft driving growth as I believe the company's management to be experienced and capable.
half year figures I was hoping for a small dividend, but I can see that with the cash position now negative and EPS going down that this would not have been prudent. A bit of a mixed picture on first impressions. Any thoughts?
Trades Nothing posted by this joke of a company that is ii.Raising the fees? Provide a proper service first you clowns.
Share price fall With Full year results due at the end of this month this share price fall, with the only known news the recent buyout, is curious - any thoughts as to why this has taken such a tumble? Buying opportunity or time to bail
Became shareholder today I have been keeping an eye on Netcall for quite a while to buy on any significant setback in the share price so I have now bought a small holding today at 56p. My hope is that the recent share price fall has occurred as a result of the prospects of further special dividends evaporating and market makers becoming defensive as they may expect the vendors of MatsSoft to eventually sell some of the Netcall shares they receive and may receive in the future. In other words, I am hoping the share price fall is not an indication of anything wrong with the Netcall business. I am gambling on the MatsSoft purchase being successful in the longer term and believe that the experienced management of Netcall and major stakeholder, Livingbridge, are in a good position to judge the value of this acquisition.
Re: Board(Bored) Looks like this purchase will allow Netcall to be quicker at bringing products and services to market, which in this highly competitive and developing market has to be seen as a good move. I have no idea if this is fair value, but why did they not use at least some of their cash rather than taking out the Loan Stock? The shares have been marketed down on thin trading so I wouldn't read much into todays price move.
Re: Board(Bored) Is there anybody out there? Or is this the Marie Celeste?Mr Market does not like this deal,so is the price too high?Answers on a Christmas card please!
Board(Bored) Chatty crowd of PIs on here with 3 posts all year! Not much movement in the SP either but with nearly 4 mill turnover today is something stirring?
results tomorrow any thoughts anyone, good dividend yield here, and cash rich with no debt
Takeover candidate (after ARM?) [link] he said investors had other options to benefit from the so-called Internet of Things (IoT) , which links the growing number of smart devices such as phones, meters and cars.Mould highlighted other IoT-focused stocks such as Netcall plc (LON:NET), EMIS Group Plc (LON:EMIS) , Marimedia (LON:MARI) and also Wandisco Plc (LON:WAND).He added: The weak pound may tempt overseas predators to lunge for their prey. ARM is the second quoted UK firm to receive a formal bid since the EU referendum vote and sterlings subsequent collapse the other is Poundland PLC (LONLND), where South African retailer Steinhoff is looking to swoop.
Solid dividend player with healthy balance sheet. At least that is the view on here [link]
Re: sellout It will be valid as long as you haven't sold
Re: sellout I have a Netcall PLC share certificate dated February 1999, anyone know if this is still valid?
sellout the offer does not seem to reflect netcalls true value which I believe has been as high as .73 in recent trades?!.
