RNS : substantial director share buying Excellent - I calculate that's around £460,000 of shares purchased by the Board. A substantial vote of confidence:[link]

Re: Results out, looking good Yep, good news. They are dropping the non core elements and focusing on the core stuff, hopefully build on these areas in the future. Nice to see the dividend being upheld.
Results out, looking good The market certainly likes the results. Perhaps because investors now have certainty going forward as to strategy and numbers, with no major (new) surprises.Forecasts from N+1 Singer are for 8.8p EPS this year, so with those expectations reiterated today NCC are on a pretty cheap rating for the sector given the prospects. Even the 4.7p dividend isn't a bad yield at the current price.
Re: Another 10% Gift Think we may have to wait for the revue to be released taking out the uncertainty. Hopefully we get some clarity how the managment see things going forward.

Re: Another 10% Gift Not much I can add in the way of knowledge on this share, so leave that to others who know more.Watched this company for a while, thinking that with the IoT taking off and hearing of businesses being hacked this seemed to be a good way to get exposure. Then they had a series of issues, so didn't pull the trigger (rather lucky for me), got in at around £1.10ish with a small holding when Artemis RNS came out and topped up a couple of times since so averaged to £1.22. Hoping this will recover and then progress upward as business picks up.Anyway enough from, back to sidelines for now.
Re: Another 10% Gift I agree NotR, nice to see there are others here, I thought that I could hear a pin drop.I work in IT and am convinced that there is only one way for the future of cybersecurity and that is up up up.
Re: Another 10% Gift Hi Maroon Bells,Not that I know one way or the other, but I'm taking the view they've had plenty of time to tell us if their was any further bad news. Further more my take on the Strategic Review is more about getting a proper management structure and systems in place to take account of integrating the new businesses they bought. Still as you say the recent cyber attacks can't but help spotlight the business. Thanks Gretel for the article and link.
Tipped by fund manager Good to see the head of private client investment management at Thomas Miller Investments tipping NCC:[link] "1 Jun 2017Andrew Herberts, head of private client investment management at Thomas Miller Investments, has revealed the UK small cap share that offers an opportunity for investors to access fast growing sectors of the technology market. The stock in question is NCC Group. He commented, NCC Group is a rare opportunity to get exposure to online and software security through its Assurance and Escrow Divisions. Through recent acquisition, it now offers a service proposition combining consultancy, managed services and products. With cyber-security becoming a higher and higher management priority, Assurance should see significant top line growth. M&A has been NCCs Achilles heel. It grew quickly organically and then began to round out its proposition through a slew of acquisitions. These purchases and the attempts to integrate them showed weaknesses in its management control systems and processes which led to weak updates in November and February and a total stock price fall of over 70 per cent. While it has rallied 50 per cent since, it is still less than half its high of 367p achieved in September 2016 and trades on 20 (times) 2018 earnings estimates.NCC Group has a market cap of £472 million, and has a current dividend yield of 2.8 per cent. For the year to the end of May 2016, the company posted a profit of £9.4 million on a turnover of £209 million It is a curious feature of this company that despite turnover being more than double that of five years ago, the profit number has halved."
Re: Another 10% Gift Note: My SXX are catching these up now though!
Re: Another 10% Gift I was lucky enough to buy a couple of months ago at 98p, I remember looking at the price on my phone and thinking damn are they giving this away?? It seemed a no brainer to me. I did also top up the other day at 164. All we need now is the results of the business review to sound a positive note and some more custom coming in (must be inevitable after the cryptovirus scare but may take a month or two) and we are off to the races IMO. Of course there is always the risk of further bad news that could send the shares back to 80p but I think the wind may be in our sails now. Looks like it just you and me though OWT!
Another 10% Gift It shouldn't have fallen into the mid 150's given all that's going on in the world and what with Sophos steaming ahead also.Own due diligence
