such strength again today is impressive I've suffered pretty long here - granted not nearly as long or hard as many, I expect - and my 35p avarage looked a long way away for a long time.. I was thinking how silly I was to buy a medium - for me - sized tranche of these.. and I'm now kicking myself I ddin't add in early 30's recently, when I realised this latest RNS is likely a real wake up moment.. funny old world ... I don't know whether to add or not at 40p now and so don't for now.. but i ain't selling any either ...Well done to all who bore with this.. hopefully you'll be well rewarded from here on forward..

Re: Strange end tonight... They weren't marked as late trades on III L2. I accept they could have been buys or sells - but the one at 0.31p a share looks to be a significant mistake in converting pence to pounds, and more likely to be a sell as buys normally go through close to recent ASK and actual sell prices. A sell may be accepted at any price below the present Bid value - with the MM set to make money on the re-sale.I agree this is nothing for us to worry about, and tomorrow should see NANO strengthen a bit more as the news spreads.It would be great to get some good news on the TV screen side soon though...

Re: Strange end tonight... I believe these are late notified trades hence actually took place much earlier in the day when those prices were relevant. Therefore can be ignored but may even have been buys

Strange end tonight... 197,509 sold at 0.31709p (100th of expectation) post two sells of 243,575 shares at 31.07226p and 129,850 shares at 32.2892p; all very late after a 34p U (uncrossed trade) to mark the end of the trading day.Someone on Twitter recons the US company could be Apple, but surely they would want to buy screens rather than raw material - unless they plan to manufacture their own screens in future... Apple would be great of course, but there must be many candidates and there is clearly secrecy over the application and buyer at present, ahead of the planned 2019 release of whatever the devices/products are...

I'm sure Nanoco can't tell us anymore than they have.The key points are that it's a new revenue stream, large partner, that they're going straight to commercialisation and even paying for it. They must have a product they are supremely confident in.It greatly de-risks NANO who need to reassure the market of it's long term viability.If that doesn't raise confidence enough then yes stay away. You pays your money and takes your chance and other platitudes.

Re: Breakthrough? This was £1.15 in 2015 admittedly with about 30% more shares now so with this potential USA based game changer and other existing deals with majors in the east plus potential future prospects I am happy to hold until further shareholder value is delivered. Each to their own

I was targetting 40p, but on reflection I have taken the gain and quit ahead today.There may be genuine good news in this deal and more to come, but we should not have to try and decode a cryptic announcement to work it out, who it is with, the effect on financials etc. Astonishing how we are all having to speculate what the news actually means, we are owners of this business but we are being deprived of the info needed to understand value because those who do know aren't telling. Like betting blind on a hand of poker. The deal could be terrific for the people putting new money in, essential for the next phase of commercialisation of NANO, but potentially on terms at the expense of existing private stock holders. How do you know?For that reason I am out ...
