Re: Who is still selling NANO, at reduci... Three display models are being shown (100", 65" & 50", ready for production sales it would seem... the write up is pretty good; at least as good as OLED but lower cost and more durable.[link] I also want Panasonic to start making such TVs - with Nanoco technology of course...Very encouraging, an early mover in the market now. Who will be next?New "standard" looks like 4K or 8K resolution, Quantum dot (NANO film and LED), Android TV o/s (not mentioned here, dependent on the TV integrator/supplier).

Re: Bid After my disastrous AFREN purchase (Their Board pis**d off with all the money) Nanoco has been the worst performing share in my portfolio. Either there is a t/o on the horizon or maybe another decent deal on the way. Whatever it is, an upward line on the graph and a 13% increase is welcome news. Lets hope its not a dead cat bounce.

Bid My guess is, for what it's worth, is someone is about to make a bid.Weak £, strong technology, clever boffins in charge with no great skills at management, better to have this company as a subsidiary than a non-exclusive supplier.

Same again please strong start again today. I have added to my holding this morning. Something is stirring, even if it is just the sentiment that Nanoco are going to be selling more dots....

QMC cadmium free film SAN MARCOS, Texas, Jan. 04, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Quantum Materials Corp (OTCBB:QTMM) today announced that the Company will be presenting its heavy metal-free quantum dot film by appointment to television, monitor and mobile display manufacturers at the 2017 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this week. A photo accompanying this announcement is available at [link] “We are excited to present our QD display film to leading display manufacturers at CES seeking to incorporate advanced quantum dot technology into their TV, monitor and mobile device offerings,” said Quantum Materials CEO and Chairman Stephen B. Squires. “Our heavy metal-free display film affords display designers the ability to create brighter and more vivid wider color-gamut devices, while fulfilling environmental mandates to restrict the use of heavy metals in consumer and professional electronics.” “Due to relatively high cost, implementation of quantum dot display film has been heavily weighted to the high-end display market. We believe Quantum Materials Corp’s low-cost high-volume quantum dot manufacturing approach will enable the enhanced viewing experience made possible with quantum dots to be enjoyed by consumers along a much broader range of price points,” said Toshi Ando, Quantum Materials Corp Senior Director of Business Development. Interested display manufacturers can schedule a demo appointment by contacting Toshi Ando, Quantum Materials Corp Senior Director of Business Development, at [email protected] or 510.300.4021.

Anyone think it's something more than coincidence that Nanoco are next to BenQ at the CES17 show? Looking at the reviews of BenQ they state they are 2nd best screen wise to Asus that use quantum dots... Guess we'll find out soon!

Yes, new accounting practice, or told to change. But anyway, that 1.2 million still in the bank from Wah Hong. Think the Merck payment was in August so that will have arrived by now. But looking forward, what's important is Runcorn moving to full production and more exciting Dow supplying LG early 2017. After all LG have said publicly that they intend to launch a new range of Qdot TV's next year. Further out maybe Samsung will come on board. That Merck factory a way off though.
