Re: MAGNIFICENT MONDAY! Interest is growing and NANO is rightly turning back up on order prospects. Just need some good orders confirmed from some of those trialling the film and we'll see many more 4K quantum dot, LED TVs on the market with Android TV OS at competitive prices for video streaming and more.I have increasing hopes here...

Re: TCL cadmium-free I saw the negativity on advfn regarding Phillips but must have missed that post. Couldn't figure out why it was. All I could find on the Web that looked at all negative was that the full launch might be early next year. I can't imagine that Phillips would switch suppliers. Makes no sense. Certainly not bothered about some poster saying they got an e-mail.It's possible of course but would be a very strange turn of events.

Re: TCL cadmium-free This is the TCL tweet confirming their qled is cadmium-free:[link]

Re: TCL cadmium-free A poster at advfn said that nanoco had replied to their email confirming some weeks back that Philips was not using nanoco dots (sp took a nosedive around then). However TCL looks much more hopeful, and judging by the leap in sp recently the historical leakyness of this share is at play.

Re: TCL cadmium-free TCL were one of the three OEMs to demo screens with Nanoco dots at CES in January...[link] announced the 8602 in 55" and 65" versions at IFA. Sounds like they will go into full production by the start of next year. So it is all happening. Is it happening fast enough to avoid a cash call?Anyone heard anything from Hisense?

Re: Who is still selling NANO, at reduci... The other piece of circumstantial evidence is that Wah Hong are the only company, to my knowledge, that have announced they were developing a film for 100" screens.

TCL cadmium-free I just saw a post on advfn chat:"Hi guys. Just to let you know. I had a reply from TCL. They say their qled tv's are cadmium free".Another encouraging development.

Re: RNS - Samsung presentation alltold9, does it sound like I'm not positive? I was highlighting the likelyhood that Innolux is using CFQD ...

Re: RNS - Samsung presentation Stay positive 'Bunny' all will be revealed. Happy days.

Re: Who is still selling NANO, at reduci... Too circumstantial for me Bunny007.The rise is encouraging though. If confirmed it will have a lot further to go. Foxconn is big.

Re: Who is still selling NANO, at reduci... Consider that in 2015 Innulux said:"that quantum dot technology consumes more energy, and also uses environmental pollution materials (such as: cadmium), not consistent with the trend of the global industrial Development, therefore Innolux will not develop related products".[link] this is a big clue as they have now adopted QD, it is very likely CFQD ...

Re: Who is still selling NANO, at reduci... I've not seen anything that confirms these are Nanoco dots though.
