Re: July, August Exports Update tomorrow. 25%+?
Re: July, August Exports Expecting a flow of news and the SP north to 80p region imhho.
Re: GSA Reduces Short Over 3% of NANO's stock is shorted and I strongly believe there are many orders in the pipeline, no longer waiting for the displays but for integrated TV packages to complete their trials ahead of production releases very soon now.The share price may spike as shorts are closed.
Re: July, August Exports Nice find - been exporting generally all year though per that websiteFD
July, August Exports Confirming that they have been shipping product since June...[link]
Something is starting to happen I sense... The 18p placement will give NANO the cash to continue their business research and development for two more years irrespective of order levels; and was done at a timely point for the long term shareholders to average their share price down ahead of the expected orders (which I sense will now start to come through after good reviews of the displays) as the TV manufacturers pick up the technology to match or beat Samsung which is first in the race at present. The SKY Q-box and a lot of other processor and application technology continues to come together for the next generation of Quantum Dot, LED, 4K resolution (8K very large displays), TV Android OS which will be much better than Plasma, give a picture matching OLED standards with a wider range of colour, black & greys, and offer much better, integrated technology for streaming films, running APPs, etc. There will be race to the market with such technology very soon now... with the bigger companies like Panasonic & Sony close behind.
Re: GSA Reduces Short Short position reduced. So what? Price is still falling; now 7.5% below price at which I recommended a strong sell. At the current price, I will reduce my recommendation to a weak sell.
GSA Reduces Short GSA Capital reduced their short position to 0.69% down from 0.77% on 5th October.[link]
Re: Massive downside Bunny, if what you say was likely; a sudden jump in the share price due to potential orders, then the share issue would have been much more than 18p per share. Note the share fell by more than 5% after my posting. Expect further falls as shareholders wake up.
Re: Massive downside One problem with this cynical approach is that I think all it will take is one RNS about further orders (which literally could be any day now), or slightly better than expected FY RNS, expected Monday or sometime next week, and the price could so easily jump, possibly even causing a proper trend reversal. The strengthening of prospects from the funding, and overall positioning of the company in this new market keeps me bullish.
Massive downside Nanoco are assuming their shareholders are not up to speed. Directors and senior managers have just subscribed for 1.3 million shares at 18p per share. These shares have not yet been issued and can only be when the transaction is approved by members at the AGM. Once these shares are admitted the price must fall because of the dilution. However, what may happen is that directors and senior staff slowly sell off their shares making both a profit and taking the price down. When they are down to 18p and can no longer make a profit they could start buying them back. This is pure speculation, but at the AGM shareholders should ask if there are any restrictions on the new shares, if not, then existing shareholders are being taken for a ride. I would take a chance by selling now and buying back at 18p.
Re: MASSIVE UPSIDE! Yes... but it's not clear yet how much revenue will be gained per screen, for usage of the technology, patents and manufactured items such as nano/quantum dot film. The share price will languish a bit until NANO receive large orders regularly, we can see the results in TV deliveries and in local stores, etc. and the amounts received grow in the financial reports for NANO and it's subsidiaries.
Re: oh well surprised/relieved by the share price resilience/strength so far today.. the stock market never ceases to surpise me ... one way or other, factorially.. the problem is guessing correctly which way in any given situation.. random path comes to mind..The future could still be nano bright.. here's hoping !
Re: oh well the placing was significantly oversubscribed. credit to the board for getting it away well before investors would have got jittery with cash dwindling.
Re: oh well Okay. So far so good. This could be one of the very rare dilution events seen as immediately positive by the market. Giving the company an extra year sure does remove a lot of uncertainty. Still far too early to tell though.
