bought today MTPH… XXXXX Still confusing this with MTFB , when i see news !!! RNS… Loan from Spanish government sent it up 35% top of days gainers. It had dropped to 5.5p in last month now 7.5p.

bought today MTPH… XXXXX Bounced to 9p Wednesday 27th Feb… Pilkersa on lse pointed out Nasdaq price was much higher 0.63$ = 22p ( not sure if that was true ? )

just when you think this can't go lower it tanks further after todays results.. absolute shocker this one and apols. for marking it a weak buy at start of year.. still, it's now well funded and already has some half decent income and an interesting pipeline of drugs in test ...and so there is medium term hope here, perhaps... so, fool that I may well be, I did another top up just now.. still down nearly 50% on this now mid to large sized - for me - position .. and it's certainly currently up there on my all time dog bets list.... but, hope springs eternal, and I'll do a top up or two more I expect and sit, wait and hope for months or even years.. Generally, I'm understanding more and more that pharma stocks are very 'duck or no dinner' ..as indeed I've also seen with Immupharma.. which has fortunately been very good to me even accepting recent capitulation.. active trading, profit taking, cutting and running or patience required in betting in this space i'm learning .. but too late for the cutting and running for me here now.. so it's patience... and even if I lose the lot I'd at least be able to say I funded some R&D into next generation cancer drugs which, be it via midatech or a n other getting them proved up, will hopefully save lives in the future.. so cloud comes with silver lining...
