Re: RNS Not sure on expected flow rates but taking into account the well didn't flow any oil naturally and they are using a down hole pump and nodding donkey, I think the flow rate may be in the order of 10 bopd.A lot depends on the extended test as even low flow rate wells add up providing you can drill enough. The currently depressed oil price marginalises exploration but I think we should have a better idea of the play economics in a couple of months.Still a lot to happen across the MSMN portfolio so all the eggs aren't in the same basket.

(AIM: MSMN), the New Zealand and Australia focused oil exploration and development company is pleased to update shareholders in respect of the recent operational activity at Cross Roads-1. The Company advises that the Drill Force Rig #1 was rigged up at the Cross Roads-1 location last week. The Company successfully perforated the Cobden Limestone zone 242-245m, recompleted the well, and installed the downhole pump. The nodding donkey was installed on 2 March ready for flow testing. Visible oil was noted on wireline tools retrieved to surface having been used downhole after the Cobden Limestone was perforated. The further evidence of oil is encouraging, but flow rates and volumes can only be determined by flow testing which will now proceed for up to 60 days. Competent Person's StatementThe information contained in this announcement has been reviewed and approved by Andy Carroll, Technical Director for Mosman, who has over 35 years of relevant experience in the oil industry. Mr Carroll is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. John W Barr, Executive Chairman of Mosman, commented: "I am encouraged by the additional evidence of oil at this stage from the Cross Roads-1 well. The challenge now is to establish steady oil flow rates. "

Re: Agree BUY I've increased my - small - position here just now. On today's RNS I expect there to be some fun and games here in Mosman price movement over the coming - up to - 60 days. Per Alltolds chart and my previous experience this is a very volatile puppy so be very careful ( a £1 bet here is like a £10 bet in Royal Dutch Shell in terms of price movement risk )

Tempted too alltold.. To cash in.Problem being the spread. When I bought at 10.6p I had to pay 11.1p for 100,000.The sell was showing 13p at one point but my dummy sale only offered 12.5p. Still I was showing a £2k profit which was sweet as it counter balanced my standing loss on these which was £3k!Think these should move up to 15-18pence target.Mav
