OFFERS A MPE… XXXX Went up to 800p October 2017 high before falling back to 696p now. Not a bad move in hindsight.
Results More or less as expected. The £11 NAV should help maintain share price;the possibility of takeover remains.Dividend return modest if specials ignored.I continue to hold.

Re: OFFERS A One of Peel Hunts value tips Jan 2018.
Why the recent price rise? Is there a bid in the offing?
Re: Prudent action by the Board ? I think they also think the shares are worth more than the present price therefore buy backs benefit remaining shareholders in terms of NAV.Of course a cynic might say they are guarding their own position as it makes a takeover more difficult......I continue to hold the shares.
Prudent action by the Board ? The Board of M.P.Evans appear to be hoovering up and cancelling any stock on offer.Normal prudence or convinced of a further bid in the offing ?
Re: Offers A John Lee tipped MP Evans in Saturday's FT convinced a higher bid will be made by KLK later this year.
Offers A Have recently returned from Malaysia.Locals seem to think that KLK will return with an improved bid if there hasn't been anotherone in the meantime.Demand for palm oil ,despite increasing prices, indicates another approach may not be long coming.
Re: OFFERS A Sold Tuesday @ 752p part off, and rest yesterday Wednesday @ 753p.It had dropped off after rejecting offer of 740p end of last year.Maybe another offer on the way ?
Banks pulling funding Hsbc have backed out of funding palm oil projects. This could feed through soon
Re: OFFERS A Back to recent "offer" price.Any reason ?
