0.00? Could we see monitise go pop?

darthtrader2 15 Jan 2016

Sell. No product.. no people now they have all been booted (to save costs) all the brains have gone. I dont know about the results but I think they must be terrible as they usually have a statement out by now... there isnt one.. so conclusion? its bad. it has to be or they would have been singing from the roof

Re: Not selling a single unit of MONI "I need 4 - 5p plus to break even .... I just need 40%"The way I learnt maths going from 2.44p (current bid) to 5p is a 105% increase not 40%. If this is how this geezer counts, it would explain a lot.All fantasy rubbish anyway, as he'd previously claimed an average buy price of nearly 7p and said he needed 10p.Some village is missing him.

Re: not selling a single unit Some people find it difficult to admit they were wrong. And some find it impossible. But not admitting it doesn't change the facts.p.s. Sir Singed, those things you pretended to buy, they are called shares and not units

not selling a single unit Sir SinghThere comes a time when you have to admit that a dog is a dog is a dog. And remember you can't polish dog S***.I have been in Moni for years and no matter how many contract they win they now have old technology, poor management and are leaking cash.Nough sai

Wonky_aim 13 Jan 2016

Re: Not selling a single unit of MONI I agree that contract wins are significant... but the longer Monitise leave it the more chance of potential clients asking "why Monitise" as opposed to other similar providers. There's only so long Monitise can bang on about potential etc.... as Investors we need to see a turn around asap. Not just a re-shuffle etc

Sir Singh 13 Jan 2016

Re: Not selling a single unit of MONI Hoping for bigger contract wins. More interest in their based investment. A sharp drop in costs and expenditure with a view to making a profit in 2017. It's not a lot to ask for. A big management reshuffle that brings positive change to this money hungry machine.

Re: Not selling a single unit of MONI Sir SinghI applaud your positivity and hope MONI reaches the levels you need. I need 10p+ and cant see myself ever getting it. For us to see a spike me need a protagonist.... something to spark interest..... what will that be?

Sir Singh 12 Jan 2016

Not selling a single unit of MONI I need 4 - 5p plus to break even and I'm happy with MONI I probably hold more than most in this. Super happy whilst other feeling that I should be crying. No not me. Seriously this has helped me ride the oil and commodities storm. Watching things become dust whilst I just need 40% is fine with me.I won't be selling a single unit and will be making a profit. Watch the spike someday very soon.

Re: 'm out Nothing can be "certain" in equities because if it was 100% certain the shares have zero value they would now be at zero. But I've said for a while now that I don't believe Monitise has a viable future as an independent company, and since I expressed this view the shares have moved in a more or less straight line down (dropping c 95%). Furthermore I've spoken to three people in the industry who each know Monitise a lot better than anyone on this bulletin board and all three had the same view - when asked what the future looked like for Moni drew his finger across his throat. So form your own view but about a year ago I said I doubted Monitise would make it to the end of 2016, and that remains my view.

Re: 'm out Are we certain this one is dead and buried? past the point of no return?Surely if they work tirelessly to turn things around, given that they have some big clients still involved (for now) the SP will creep up?I was told to ignore sentiment when dealing, but I cant help but want this one to pick up....

'm out After a long relationship with Monitise (bother professionally and as an investor) I'm now out. Sold my remaining 74,500 at 2.88 today - how I wish I'd sold out at the top but hindsight is a wonderful thing. I sold half on the way up at about 22p and always said the other half was roulette money and they'd either be Google or go bust.Good luck to those still holding....if my track record is anything to go by then you are onto a winner as the price will now soar!

Re: Telegraph Article: Monitise is surel... Poor old Basil - he used to try and talk this one up, celebrate each little rise and maintain his 'investment' would come good, given time. Having lost that debate he has nothing left to do but try and insult those who got it right. And he's no better at the insults than he was when he tried to comment on the share.
