RNS out Over 200,000 .vip domains registeredIncome of £3.2 million pounds from .vip alreadyMMX paid £3.1 million for .vipSo already in profit on this domainShould see a decent rise in the sp todayGLA
More steady buying today, very interesting stock as so much potential if they get the marketing into top gear, one can only hope.
Re: Steady Buying Rearrange the following into a cut and paste sentance and then pick any day's post over the last 4 years and see how many identical posts you can spot:'overhang', 'forced seller', 'top management (they're always described as this right up until the day after they leave or are sacked at which point this term is seamless applied to the new management team), 'management buy-back', 'institutional buyer', 'bigger picture', 'launch of... (insert the name of the next upcoming domain launch' etc etcThis board is a bit like groundhog day..... don't you think?p.s. I didn't mention the oft quoted 'S shaped curve' of domain name uptake to spare blushes.Despite the above I do keep a vague eye out on this stock as one day I suspect it might start to head in the right direction. The question is when as there are (believe it or not) a lot of other stocks out there that might actually make you a little money whilst you wait for this to happen.Just saying.
Re: Outsourcing Toby Hall, CEO of MMX, said:"dramatically reduced overheads... the flexibility to now significantly scale the business, on economically sure-footing... will transform our operations and cost-base."maybe not the way any of us hoped it would play out but could be more profitable in the future with "dramatically reduced overheads" and if it does transform their operations and cost base then fair play.let's see what happens now(sits back in the deck chair sipping a G&T...)
Outsourcing No financials released..Seems like they have given up.
.vip .vip now in sunrise. Goes on general release May 2016.Already receiving orders at premium prices.
Steady Buying Hopefully now the shenanigans are out of the way, the overhang cleared, the share price will start to reflect the truer price.Still got some really good names to come, and the overall market is now growing steadily. Also, Verisign are now beginning to market themselves more prominently.
Re: Van Couvering pays the price [link]
Re: Van Couvering pays the price Speculation of course but maybe the CEO and COO were clashing.Mind you why you need both is little unclear.
Van Couvering pays the price Looks like his strategy has failed. Change of prospective and looking forward to growth, which appears to have stalled.Time will tell.
Trading Update Anyone know when the next Trading Update is?Thanks in advanceM64
Re: director buys 50 shares well it had a good effect on the sp ( but maybe that was the other director buy ). Maybe that's all that was available on the market...ha h
Re: director buys 50 shares Yes, they have added 50 to the last announcement, based on what they have entered as added . 50 shares at 8.50 is £4.25. None of that is shown as a transaction on that day. Clarification required.
Re: director buys 50 shares in fact it is only 50 shares - see below the last notice from march 2015;05-Feb-16 Buy MMX Michael Salazar 8.5 GBX 50 16300509 March 2015 that Michael Salazar, a director of the Company, acquired 219,625 ordinary shares at a price of 7.94p per ordinary share on 9 March 2015. As a result Michael Salazar is now interested in 1,630,000 ordinary shares
Re: director buys 50 shares No trades for 50 shares on that day. Probably 500000, now they are out of a closed period.
