Some Peru projects are much lower grade than Minera IRL's Ollachea so wages and oil price is a bigger factor. Minera IRL will have one of the lowest cash costs to get each ounce out of the ground in the business. And Peru is still considered one of the best jurisdictions. And the community of Ollachea is very, very eager to get going with this mine.

This share seems to defy logic so I did some research.I think that at 5 g/t this is one of the more marginal prospects and so will (should) respond more to costs.The gold price seems to track the average cost of production.The two major costs for this project are labour and diesel.Wages in Peru are rising fast.One could view the OPEC actions of the last six months as being a means of pushing up the oil price in the ten year horizon.What ostensibly looks like a favourable climate might not be so.

Re: Share Price near bottom? price dipping but happy to hold, and if it dips more will buy if funds available! Can only see gold price going one way, (Russia buying now to support currency - and I'm not sure Greece and the EU won't fallout - and there is QE in Europe) and if that's right, it doesn't make sense that a mine this valuable would go to waste.

Re: Share Price near bottom? Can only see the outlook improving here as POG increases. QE in Europe added to QE in the US and UK - will strengthen gold.

They've got numerous options if the cash starts getting tight over the next few months but issuing shares is not one of them. They are in advanced financing talks so something good should be announced soon.

There's no cash raising planned at all except some time after financing is done.

What do you investors think of hedging being part of the financing deal? I don't like it because I think the price of gold will move up in a big way this year. If you feel the same way, could I suggest that you give Minera IRL a call or send them an email to let them know?

You have to understand that they have financing options. The time that's going by is for the purpose of trying to get the best deal possible.
