I think we're close to something big.

Euro Chess 27 Mar 2015

Financing deal next week? Crunch time, and a financing deal is imminent...My feeling is there will finally be news about a deal very soon, possibly announced early next week. The Ollachea gold mine is too good not to proceed and with South American financiers keen to get on board it's all about getting the 'right' deal. I think all the money will come from a Pacific Alliance group, perhaps similar to a consortium who bought Don Nicolas (CIMINAS).How much the company potentially has to give away as part of the deal will be the key for me and will determine the share value.Until we know more about the deal its still a gamble, but I believe quite an attractive one.I've been adding at these levels.DYOR

You can call them to discuss the cash situation. Macquarrie is there for them to get them to financing.

ibwaiting 12 Mar 2015

Its on the stockhouse i checked out.Never been there before but thats what I found.

Barrie 12 Mar 2015

Sorry - I know it wasn't you who said that ibwaiting. But they haven't run out of cash. They have options as it gets lower if financing isn't secured at that point.

Barrie 12 Mar 2015

The cash didn't run out. Where did you hear that?

ibwaiting 12 Mar 2015

here it is in case you have not Barrie. didnt the cash run out just when Chamberlain got ill??? that would make anybody ill. Look for a restructuring....good asset, bad timing, very very bad balance sheet. Shareholders will own less than a few percentage, if that

ibwaiting 12 Mar 2015

Thanks again Barrie. I just checked it out this stockhouse. The recent post is that Chamberlain got ill as monies ran out. Go check it out or have you already. Comment?

Barrie 12 Mar 2015

ibwaiting - Most use the lse.co.uk board and they show up here. They can't see your posts on here - that's why I'm the only one answering you. I usually just watch stockhouse blogs myself anyway - I just trade tsx stocks. The big buyers are mainly in Peru. Someone made the comment that they are Chilean funds who are doing the buying.

Thanks for the thoughts Barrie. Who is the buyer of size in the same time frame Mitton is selling which house. Interesting but curious. You are the only one that responds to me but they converse amongst them selves.?

Barrie 12 Mar 2015

I believe RNS is Regulatory News Service. You can see it's Miton on the TSX. All the selling has been through Dundee and that is who they used as broker. At one point I said it looked like they were done because they stopped selling for a day for whatever reason but then they started again.

ibwaiting 12 Mar 2015

Excuse my forgetfulness but what is RNS short for? In relation to Mitton others have said they were finished selling now others claim they are still selling? We really do not know unless we see filings. Another fund could now be liquidating. Gold and financing will be tough going at these rates.

If you have to sell ibwaiting, that's your choice. But don't be with Maxo. He's not only crazy, but he's proven to be a real dirtbag. But seriously, Courteney didn't resign - he's coming back after he's better. And this deal is complicated. Everyone has to be happy, especially Macquarrie. While it's good that Macquarrie is so invested in this, they're naturally going to try to insist that the deal favors them.
