Re: Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz .............. How are your Lloyds doing JC......Have bailed out yet or are you still sitting on massive losses ?Glad I took the 81p there a while back and then put in Taylor Wimpey sub 110p Regarding Mirada.......well worth a punt at these levels if you like a little gamble along with Intellgent Energy. Took a nice little holding there a few weeks back at 7p.....a good possibilty of of a 10 bagger in the next 12 months. You got anything you can recommend I look at as took all the money out of the housebuilders and bagged the profit so quite awash with cash at the moment and looking for bargains.
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz ..............
Feedback No feedback from Vegas, London, or the Investor Show. Looks like they're still struggling to generate interest.
Re: sceptical ali, Check the oracle link in the 13:47 post, the surname is spelt with an A.
sceptical ali, Thomas KurienBusiness Promotion - South East Asia at Mirada plc/tv[link]
Re: Bad news here sceptical ali,What are you on about? The "Kurien" is the Proactive Investor article is spelt exactly the same as the "Kurien" in the RNS.
Re: Bad news here Is that the same Kurien PS, different surname spelling, if it is the same guy, then that's another error from the Company in getting the guy's name wrong.
Re: Bad news here A bit more information from Jose Luis Vazquez on today's RNS:[link]
Re: Bad news here I doubt it, selling this is like flogging a dead horse. It looks like they've drawn a blank at the recent Vegas exhibition again. You can't knock elboy for trying though, exhibiting here there and everywhere, investment shows, TV interviews, presentations, unfortunately, to date, all to no avail.
Re: Bad news here Both people appointed seem to have some form......[link] see if they can use their knowledge and bring their past success in developing sales for Mirada.
Re: Bad news here Yeah I agree - it makes me nervous when companies start issuing non significant RNSs. The investor show one last night was ok as it was after close of business and just an informative piece that people can meet and discuss with the CFO.
Re: Bad news here Not even worth issuing a RNS for that news.
Re: Bad news here Ali, Syqic's problem is that it books lots of revenue and even profit but never actually seems to get paid. Market cap is about £5million, but has trade receivables of £14million, although it is now talking about making provisions.I agree it's a key year here - active marketing of the product by Televisa should begin in the next couple of months so then the full product suite is on display and working in the market with a huge industry player. This will hopefully secure at least one large additional client. The Televisa revenue should allow the company to offer highly competitive set up rates and also should give the company room financially.Interesting that they partnered and presented at NAB in Vegas with Conax who are a significant industry player which seems to bode well for distribution. Also increasing rumours that Televisa will make an offer for Megacable, the largest independent cable company left in Mexico. It would add a further 2 million subscribers to the cable group, although how quickly (and indeed whether) it would be integrated is another question.
Re: Bad news here If this Company doesn't win new clients, it'll probably go the same way as SYQ.
Re: Bad news here JC........you never answered my question on how your Lloyds Bank was doing. After selling out at 81p there a while back dipped my toe back in at 68p and bought some Barclays sub 150p.Both looking good value at the moment IMHO.I am around £ 4 K down again here at the moment......not quite so bad as the £ 16 K wipeout I took in the Yoomedia days. The longer it goes on here the more I think this is going to end well....you have to keep the faith sometimes and hope for a bit of luck at times.Talking of which had a nice little 100% profit on Intelligent Energy after taking advantage of the over selling their a week or so back.Worth doing a little research on that one.......potential 3 bagger there iver the next few weeks / months. You got any tips worth me investigating ? I am only around 25% invested at the moment having cashed in on the housebuilders and retailers in recent months. Didn't want to get too greedy
