Re: look on the bright side Not surprised this fell so much today given this is a small fledgling company and it's holders are rightly nervous...however the end of the rns shouldn't be overlooked in the stampede for the exit....'It is important to note that, although the Televisa rollout is expected to proceed at a slower pace than before, the scope of the contract remains unchanged. Mirada's product is working as planned, and exceeding customer expectations."In addition, the Board expects that based on current indications, new business wins should more than compensate for the slowdown in the Televisa rollout over the medium to longer term. Due to Mirada's improved sales and marketing efforts and the Televisa reference, Mirada's pipeline of opportunities is currently larger than at any time in the Company's history and a number of these opportunities are progressing well." '
look on the bright side these shares can go down by a further 100% and they will still be worth wot they were a year ago

Re: Widening Losses Didn't I remember you saying this dog was dying 10 years ago JC lol.Looks like it is about to have new life breathed in over the next 6 months. No further cash injection needed going forward. It has taken rather longer than some of us thought but it does seem to be turning the corner at last.Certainly worth a punt at these prices with the future that lies ahead IMHOHow much you down on Lloyds at the moment ? Good luck with that one JC
Widening Losses Mirada announces a wider first-half pre-tax loss on improved revenue.Pre-tax loss was £1.2m, from £0.8m. Revenue was £2.8m, from £2.3m.When questioned in respect of the numbers, Mr VaselineQuiz said that he was pleased to report the improved revenue as this facilitated an increase in Board member salaries and pensions. 'This has inevitably resulted in the widening of the losses' he went on to say, 'but I am confident that we have the continuing support of our shareholders'The market didnt like the numbers, and at the close, shares in AIM-quoted Mirada were down 7.69% to 4.5p. 'I can see this heading back to 3.5p' said an analyst
Re: Nice 15% Tick-Down Back up again.....30-30
Re: Nice 15% Tick-Down Back down again...........30 - 15JC
Re: Nice 15% Tick-Down Nice little tick back up JC15 - 15
Re: Nice 15% Tick-Down Popped back up - given the future is heavily reliant on Mexico, the drop at the end of last week and the rise today is likely due to the perception of risk the MMs and market has around the US election.I've not had chance to do a meaningful AGM write up - I'll try and combine it with the interim results that should be released next week.
Nice 15% Tick-Down As expected........3.60p to sell.........
Re: Nice 15% tick up on news....... Looks like elboy's attempt to buck the market a few weeks before the release of probably disappointing results has failed, you can't buck the market elboy.
Nice 15% tick up on news....... [link]
Re: Where's Spike? elboy didn't sound confident in his latest proactive interview, I think he's 'winging' it. I expect this will soon retreat back to 3
