Re: Showing some signs of life?? don,t really understand the option situation; but surely if they wish to bid for company they would have to offer true value and not base bid on their rigged price.otherwise it could well be illegal

Re: Showing some signs of life?? very true and those silly options there that cannot be taken unless they bid for the company.I cannot say they cover themselves in glory and communication is very poor.we had 1.76p eps last year. I feel sure 2 million plus is /has been done.tiger

Re: Showing some signs of life?? tiger's figures look sound; and i always value his opinion - more so now he finally draws attention to bod . in my opinion they show little concern for small investors.i expect results will be well up to expectations and sp will rise in response; but whether it remains is in the hands of major sh/holders.treat with caution.

Re: Showing some signs of life?? quite easy..........I look at EPS for last year which is going to be very close +/- 10% to 2.00p.take market sector average x 15That's gets me to 30ptake off 20/30% and I arrive at my figureWe have no debt and NAV will be more than current share price.tiger

Re: nibbling a few more/AND AGAIN A divi is I believe not presently possible as Manx has no distributable reserves as a consequence of losses a few years ago,the negative P&L balance is about £8m from memory.In addition as the company is building up its business and hence deposit base it will need to maintain a capital base of about 10% of its deposits to meet likely regulatory requirements so at the moment needs to retain its profits.Conister's banking licence & its ability to issue credit cards is of value and I agree with fully diluted PE of around 9 is hardly dear.

Re: nibbling a few more/AND AGAIN imho - product of a simple cynicit occurs to me that if sp remains low until results announced ( i expect something impressive - as before) and at same time bod reward themselves with more options the sp could be turned loose upwards; , co. opened to bids and all options would automatically convert at buyout price.is this possible on AIM market?
