Re: Bottom draw time Will anybody be at the AGM apart from the Directors ?
Re: Bottom draw time if you are saying that the likes of me should not hold this share i am beginning to agree.certainly seems v.profitable co. - but for who?and when will sp reflect truly?in meantime directors doing v.welltypical of many AIM cos!!!.
Bottom draw time Giving up trying to work this out.The price gives no reflection to how the company is doing.Clearly the directors didn't help but they have turned this into a profitable company . However one that has little value to the market.( shareholders)Tiger
Re: poor end to great results in effect - we're being screwedour investment becomes insignificant in face of director's holdings AND optionscurrent price well undervalue but little we can do to improve it as control of sp well and truly in directors' hands.one must admire their foresight,,planning, and ruthless cunningbut NOT their obvious lack of consciencein share investments one must trust the directors to play fair with ALL shareholdersi feel compelled to say that this is clearly not so in this case
Re: poor end to great results Just wish I'd been given the chance to lend the company at 7% for 5 years with the opportunity to cash in the loan for shares at the record low price of 4p. As mere owners of the company we were never given this opportunity or asked in advance if we approve such benevolence.
Re: poor end to great results Whilst I do generally think it was greedy ............the shares were 4p at the time.It is always a case that management have the inside track. OF course they needed the capital putting in to grow the company. So they argue that todays profits are due to their capital. All that being said I do feel they were slightly over generous. The NED are supposed to look after us ,but they are often moved on if they don't "play the party line"The options are clearly holding the price back as we look seriously undervalued.tiger
Re: poor end to great results Tiger you must be joking. As investors we are kept in the dark most of the time. Seeing your previous posts this has been an annoyance to you. The way company information is presented can very much influence the share price and give directors an opportunity to buy cheap or sell high(ie announcing a new dividend strategy or the buying back of shares). The directors of MFX and such companies have all the cards. In this case they are played very much for the benefit of the directors. The loan at 7percent being particularly galling,
Re: poor end to great results The share price was under 4p at the time.We could of all put a million pounds in and owned the shares.tiger
Re: poor end to great results from a previous post. From dec 2012:Burnbrae Limited, wholly owned by a trust of which Jim Mellon, the Group's Chairman, is a life tenant will subscribe a total of £1.7 million to this Loan, of which £1.2 million will be additional capital; the remainder consolidating the £500,000 unsecured loan noted in the Group's 2011 Accounts. The Loan will be for a period of five years and have a coupon of 7%. The conversion will be at 4 pence. The Loan will include one warrant for every £0.06 of principal loan sum advanced at an exercise price of 6 pence with a five year term. A further announcement will be made in due course once the documentation is formalised and funds received from the other parties.
Re: poor end to great results Why would they pay at these levels when they were able to lock in options at much lower prices. If they have spare funds its much better for them to lend the money to mfx at way above market interest rates in any case.
Re: poor end to great results i
Re: poor end to great results Be nice if the directors were to show some confidence and buy at these levels, am sure that would wake up the SP.
poor end to great results Surprised its flushed out sellers. Managed to get a few more .looks undervalued but market decides I guess.tiger
Re: undervalued What did you tell them? The only calls I get are from Double Glazing salesmen.I agree with you about a shortage of shares.Hippo
