Mmmm....quite an uptick here. 2.75p has been paid today and even a seller of 450k got the full bid of 2.45p.m
Mention in Sunday Times Via Peter Wilkinson in the Rich List.Says PW bought MBT as a turn around model to offer free wifi.Interesting? Here's hoping!
Re: Somethings up Hi Maverick - who knows who does what, why and when. Gains may have already been booked soon after April 6 and over the allowance, wanting the certainty of set-off with firm losses, before booking further gains of elsewhere. Thanks forthe on dir comment - that doesn't surprise me.m
Re: Somethings up If it was for CGT purposes then it would have been transacted before the April 6 deadline surely? As for the other comment as to whats going on.. I bumped into one of the directors last month and he said nothing. Not even a whiff of news would he comment on. I know Directors cant divulge but he didn't fill me with confidence.
Re: Somethings up What l do not like about this share is there is no email or number we can phone to ask them any questions l have just bailed out bought at 6p so enough bought because share mag said ages a go would be a world beater more like a grouse beater
Re: Somethings up I can't see anything clear about the fall. My guess is that it's a big sell by an existing shareholder, now that we are at the start of a new tax year, possibly for CGT purposes. - establishing a likely loss. The price has been well marked down in order to attract buyers and that appears to be happening - without which case any seller would have been unable to unload at anywhere near the earlier regular and already low 3p patch.I can only think that's a likely scenario for where we now are...... (m
Somethings up Would like to think so I've lost my shirt on these!
strange trading today huge drop on nothing , now buys coming in...somethings up
Re: Dods early, but not that cheaply.m
Re: A few trades.... Thanks Maverick - I'm aware of BOOM but not active there - I'll have a looksee.DODS - well worth taking a look at them. I have a large holding from a very long time ago, which has just come back to profit.m
Re: A few trades.... Yes I was aware of FTC but it seems they are flying by the seat of their pants! buying them is a big gamble its the catching the falling knife scenario.Talking of which another share to watch is BOOM. Number of investors round here have all bought.I only say that as Directors buying today £18k worth so that's positive. They are 3p I am in at 6p!Worth putting on a watchlist.Maverick
Re: A few trades.... Hi Maverick....I trust all's well with you and yours.I've been out of MBT for quite some time, but now back in.....hopefully it will confirm my feelings of it again becoming interesting and worthwhile.Geographically. not far from them is FTC - no connection of which I'm aware, but FTC is also of interest to me.m
Re: A few trades.... Yes noted this. With the set up of this company would not suprise me if one of Wilkinsons companies re reversed into this. That would be nice.
A few trades.... .... have gone though, during the past few working days. the 158K lot is a straight £5,000 buy.m
