Sweet Tra la la.
Come on MOB Keep on rising!
Rns To include "value for shareholders" and must important "building s substantial Communications business".Let's hope so!
Re: Drop What a coincidence - I saw that one mentioned in last weekend's YP..... although somewhere nearer the Skipton direction would be more accessible for me.I'm pleased to see MBT lifted a touch. One which has already risen a bit is DODS, but may have further to steadily progress. An interesting stock and shareholders, with significant dir buying in recent times.glm
Re: Drop Maybe you should go to the Square and Compass and just put your feet up, the terrace is lovely in the sun.
Re: Drop Hi MaverickI honestly hadn't expected a drop and also wouldn't expect to get anywhere with day trades here. There just isn't the vol and the spread is too wide, even if one dealt inside the quoted numbers. If it did drop significantly again then I'd be starting to think there's something seriously wrong, but from my view from the bottom of the Yorkshire Dales, I don't know what to think at the moment.m
Re: Drop Haha yes I was thinking if you today and what good timing you may have made on your sale. No shakes it's down as you say its low volume.Another 1p down and you should get back in. It looks a day trading share!Have a good weekend.Maverick
Drop Maverick, I guess that it's maybe just folks taking a MBT profit, before the weekend. My L2 shows only about a dozen trades, for today and not that many shares traded, in total.gl m
Re: Mantrova Well done for making some there. These could be very volatile. At least we know a price range. I note JF bought 5,000,000 at some 2.5p last year so maybe that's the bottom who knows? My break even is, as said earlier, around 5.5p which I agree with you looks very possible short term.Like you I Iive near MBT so I guess its like supporting Leeds United this share: Plenty of disappointment and has the potential to be a winner provided a deal can be done.Fingers crossed and catch you later if you get back in.RegardsMaverick
Re: Mantrova Hi Maverick. Thank you for you nice message, but with some regrets I have to advise that I sold just now..... the 50k is mine and produced a good return although I would have preferred to have remained with MBT. There must be some good reason behind the recent strong rise, but I can't see any mentions, although I see there is now some approx 75k lots of buying, so there is still obvious enthusiasm.I think that I first picked up on MBT in 2011 from what is now Beaufort Securities - it was a big buy which went from 6.65p > 11.25p and out. Later a smaller profit on some 2.45p's in 2015. The last 50k was more recent. Also I'm not a zillion miles from where MBT are based, so there was a local aspect in my interest and i guess that had I not been in profit I would have likely stayed invested.Nevertheless, they remain forever on my watchlist and I hope to return. Meanwhile, sincere best wishes for a further good recovery in your holding....despite my sale I have a positive view here.Best wishesmantrova
Mantrova Yours was a good post, interesting I was typing my last comment when you sent it.It seems like you and I are the only two souls on this board. Still if things happen here it will fill up as investors read about it or see the blue arrows. Why did you invest? it is such a random share this one.I first bought at 12p watched it fly quickly to 30p then bailed I think at 13p from memory so made nothing. Then got back in around the 6p -7p mark and doubled up at 2.08 and 2.2pI have a lot of shares too. Don't know why TBH just a hunch I guess. The board who have a history of doing unusual things often to help the shareholders (afterall most of the Company is owned by PW who from experience seems honest.)My hope? that MBT will be used as a vehicle cos lets be honest at the moment its pretty much a shell. If something is reversed into this its happy days.I am not sure why or who is buying to restart the rise. I know nothing maybe they do?Either way if we can both come out of this with a decent drink then great.RegardsMaverick
So few shares and low market cap Any heavy buying or selling makes a huge difference to the price. It's a buying trend now and long may it continue!
Re: £10,000 Hi Maverick - if the rate of increase carries on such as it has, then you shouldn't be too far off your average.I'd been out of MBT for a long time, only to be teased back in at 3p, only a short time back and just in time to see the recent drop....grrrr.But, after paddling for over a month at about the 2p mark, the uptick has been strong. I've checked all over the numerous rampastic boards, but there's nothing of any significance which I could find....ok, the odd mention, given the rise - but no outright mass ramping.Hence I can only attribute the rise to solid buying, but I still don't see why that last drop.I see over 3p is now being paid and at 1618hrs, 100k was taken @ 3.83p. Even that's quite weighty without good cause.gl and best wishesm
£10,000 Someone has just bought £10k as we speak.May prove to be very wise.
Re: Mmmm....quite an uptick here. Yes I have been watching. Was going to buy as it seems something is on.Sadly I have too many of these. My average though is now 5.5p having bought more at 2.07p.My sadness may turn to joy soon.
