RNS Judging by the fall in the share price the market was not impressed with the RNS yesterday. It may be a matter of Hobson's choice but having a potential rival doing the drilling does not seem very clever so perhaps the delays are not entirely an accident or bad management by MATD.

Re: Malcy's a convert I bought into matd's four drill program many months ago .. "the weather"can't be helped !! the " change of plan after the seismic survey" is understandable but then maybe they shouldn't really have been making plans till this was complete. "New permits required" .. "civil works" etc would have been known about but needing visas for the crew !! SERIOUSLY !!! a lack of organisation in the management team seems to be to blame (imho) either that or we're being fobbed off with poor excuses .. four drills this year are becoming increasingly unlikely to me .. two hopefully and a decent result will change things .. I'll wait for July but someone needs to get their act together and start delivering ...

Malcy's a convert I am slowly being re-converted to the faithful.Exciting times for MATD...these wells offer significant size of prospect and so one couldn't rule out further rally on any success.Bertie.

Delays If you look back at the funding RNS you can see that drilling was on for early May see RNS, then that passed and we were told Q2, now that's missed and we are told July, but are sinopec playing ball here? now it's a visa issue?? They were aware this would be required in feb when drilling was planned. Sloppy to say the least and the company have left it open on the visa issue, have they got them now or still waiting.Senn

Re: Consolidation ... then rise I expect our first well be be drilled in July at the earliest.imoWe still have to construct the drill pad and mobilise the rig.That will take at least 4 weeks.imo

Re: Consolidation ... then rise ..I feel there actually is a need for matd to get their act together here now .. having re thought this, should they have even been making drill plans before the seismic survey was complete ? or was this just bluff to keep some momentum of interest going?? The drilling plan is now drifting within an already tight schedule .. sometimes I'd sooner hear the truth (when there is a change of plan) rather than feel I'm being "blagged" in some way .. better comms would go a long way if you want to establish trust here guys ....
