Berenberg From Citywire:"Low & Bonar share ‘unsustainably cheap’, says BerenbergPlastics group Low & Bonar (LWB) will need to prove to investors that ‘production interruptions’ are a thing of the past if the ‘unsustainably cheap’ stock is to reach its potential, says Berenberg. Analyst Ian Osburn retained his ‘buy’ recommendation and target price of 112p on the stock, which was trading down 1.2%, or 1p, at 79.5p at the time of writing. ‘It is clear that management must deliver on its strategic plans for our “buy” case to hold. It is likely that the market will have to become confident that production interruptions are a thing of the past for the stock to reach our price target,’ he said. ‘We are happy with that risk/reward profile and see time to purchase the stock running out ahead of reported results confirming the improvement,’ he added.‘With new management delivering on its plans, we expect Low & Bonar’s earnings per share growth and dividend yield to be the highest in the sector over the next three years.’ "

Mail- Midas Extracts:"............. Annual figures, released last week, showed a 6.6 per cent increase in underlying pre-tax profits to £29.2 million for the year to November 30, while sales rose 10 per cent to £400 million. The company benefited from sterling's weakness, but suffered from a major blip at the coated technical textiles division, where core profits tumbled 38 per cent to £8.7 million. The business ran into problems on two fronts – changes in EU regulation and manufacturing issues, after a period of rapid expansion. Simpson has taken action to resolve both issues and the division is expected to return to health this year. The three other divisions experienced strong growth, delivering profit rises of between 15 and 27 per cent. Encouragingly too, the dividend has been raised by 8 per cent to 3p, putting the shares on a yield of just over 4 per cent. The group is also expanding in parts of the world where it should have an edge. A new factory has been opened in China and there was a small US acquisition.Low & Bonar derives about 65 per cent of its revenues from Europe, 20 per cent from the US and 15 per cent from the rest of the world. Simpson is keen to increase the firm's presence in China and the US, both countries with extensive infrastructure programmes from which it should benefit.Analysts are optimistic about this firm, despite the disappointment over coated technical textiles. The group specialises in high-end materials, which cannot easily be copied and it should benefit from global trends, such as spending on roads and rail, a focus on clean air and water and the move towards lighter, durable and flexible fabrics within construction.Brokers forecast an 18 per cent rise in profits this year to £34.6 million, rising to £38 million in 2018. A 3.2p dividend is expected for 2017, increasing to 3.4p next year.Midas verdict: Low & Bonar has been through some difficult times in recent years, but Simpson is determined to improve profits, reduce debt and deliver generous dividends. Buy now, at 71p, and there should be substantial rewards over the next few years."Read more: [link] Follow us: @MailOnline on Twitter | DailyMail on Facebook

Rising land scarcity, increasing awareness about seismic hazards, and stringent environmental regulations are the catalyzing factors behind the growth of geosynthetics. Some of the major polymeric materials used in the production of geosynthetics are polyethylene, polypropylene, and polyester. In general, geosynthetics materials are produced from petrochemical-based plastics which remain unaffected by fungi or bacteria and cannot be decomposed. These materials are typically found in the soil and help reinforce soil, distribute loads, prevent soil erosion, and control water pressure.Buy Full Report: [link] on type, geosynthetics are classified into geogrids, geotextiles, geomembrane, geofoams, geonets, geopipes, and geosynthetic clay liners. Among these, geotextiles and geomembrane have the major market share. On the basis of application, the geosynthetics market is further categorized as road industry, water management, railroad stabilization, waste management, soil enforcement, mining, and erosion control. Some of the basic applications of geosynthetics are in drainage, separation, filtration, reinforcement, erection of barriers, and protection. Although there are several forms of geosynthetics present in the market, each possess at least one or more of these applications.Large scale capital projects undertaken by government bodies in order to upgrade public facilities is the key factor impelling the growth of the geosynthetics market. Application of geosynthetics in transports sector has increased significantly as it provides stability and strength to the underlying soil in roadway and railway tracks. Also, growing industrial usage of geosynthetics and their easy-to-install feature are accelerating the growth of the market. Moreover, the advancement of wind energy projects further drive the demand for these materials. However, reduction in government funding is posing a threat for this market. Moreover, lack of awareness about the benefits of using geosynthetic materials is hindering the growth of the market to some extent.Rise in demand for geosynthetics from the transport industry and containment sectors such as water management and waste management is likely to boost the growth of the geosynthetics in the near future.Initially, the global Geosynthetics market was dominated by North America, with the U.S. having the largest market share. However, in 2012, Asia-Pacific became the largest market for geosynthetics. China and India are the fastest markets in the region. These countries are witnessing strong investment in large-scale infrastructure projects. Growing need for erosion control is in these countries is anticipated to surge the growth of the geosynthetics market. The Rest of the World is also showing considerable growth due to growing economies in Russia and Brazil. Some of the major companies present in the geosynthetics market are ACH Foam Technologies, LLC, ACE Geosynthetics, AGRU America, Inc., Asahi Geotechnologies Co., Ltd, Belton Industries, Inc, Carthage Mills, Inc., Contech Engineered Solutions LLC, Hanes GEO Components, Huesker Synthetic GmbH, Low & Bonar, plc, NAUE GmbH & Co. Re: Nice results - Dividend up Well lambo as you've predicted 20p, 60p, and 40p and now say it might take 2 years; youve a good chance of being right on at least one of those targets. It takes someone with accute financial acumen to come up with that; you are obviously out of our league! Ever thought of entering politics; they mostly spout bullsh*t too?

Re: Nice results - Dividend up Really? In another post you said 'I can't wait for recovery, I need to make money today' or something very similar.

NEW ARTICLE: Worst over for high-yielding Low & Bonar? "It was tough for industrial fabrics firm LSE:LWB:Low & Bonar in 2014. A lack of growth in its core European market forced a profits warning at the end of the summer, and few expect much progress this year either. But new boss Brett Simpson has ..."[link]

Nice results - Dividend up Considering the hammering the share price has had, not bad results at all. Euro QE should help this one along.

Re: Maybe a buy at 47p Spot on LG. I get exactly 20p too (an easy one for me). I used to have dealings with Low & Bonar many moons ago and keep a watchful eye on them. When I sprinkled some of your magic dust over the chart I thought I'd wait a while (all credit to LG coz I wouldn't have had a clue that 20p was a viable price target otherwise)Any chance of casting an eye over a KCOM chart LG? Finding this one a bit tricky. Heading for a buy at 77p (?) but think I can see 32p as ultimate low? Might be double vision though
