Tin hat firmly in place Amid the carnage, I am holding onto LPA and hoping for the update on the 30th being as up beat as the March update. Here's hoping....
About to test new support From which I think a bounce.still feel there is a buyer in the market.tiger
Solid dividend player with healthy balance sheet. At least that is the view on here [link]
Re: Acknowledgement Thanks Castleford Tiger and happy that you are there keeping an eye on things. I do not have any TND but AVG appears to be coming good after a similar history to LPA whilst GBG has been another small cap which has rewarded the faith. I believe a takeover is unlikely if the management did not want it, since it seems that they are fundamental to its success. Quite apart from money, I do enjoy seeing small companies emerging from difficulties through expertise and perseverance.
UKTI advert Saw this advert over Easter and found myself thinking of LPA...hope they're already onto it![link]
Re: Acknowledgement thank you.Of course we all get it wrong now and again. I am close to them ( Normanton ) Castleford being the bigger town ,so I see a little. Peter P was very open when I spoke and I think the company will grow.my fear is a sale/bid before we get the real value ( 300p)very best TigerPS got TND wrong or so the market says BUT I still think funny games going on there and with EPS of 34p how can the shares be 100p.Just be brave and hold.
Acknowledgement You were very restrained Castleford Tiger in not saying "told you so" in the light of the uber enthusiastic update from LPA's management. I think that, in general, I am better in dealing with bad news rather than good news in that I tend to believe the bad news but worry that good news may be too good to be true. My concern over LPA was they did not seem to have a steady state sustainable business but rather lived in a world of feast or famine. However, the latest news has to be taken at face value and that the company should thrive into the foreseeable future. I do have to acknowledge the crucial role that that you have played in "keeping the faith". I have been on the verge of selling several times and held back from doing so after reading your positive assessments. I hope that the management does not get carried away in their justifiable excitement. We can now see why it was so hard to find shares to purchase recently. Many thanks.
tejo ? comments 200p in sight this year 300p nexttiger
Re: Nice! Very nice-orders roaring away-up 17% on level 2What some excellent news-the company seem very excited indeed.
Nice! There she blows! 10% up on AGM update and contract win!!!
Shares up-Trading update soon Trading update last year on 26 March so should be about the same date this year. Could be additional orders received to be announced. That would be nice.
Re: 30,000 WANTED same 30k wanted now offering 110.1pticking up as we speaktiger
Re: 30,000 WANTED That would be nice. Great to see the sp continue to move north on such small volumes.I previously considered buying into LPA but didn't as there were too many "jam tomorrow" updates. However I recently bought in a couple of times (av c85p) and am hoping to see the impact of operational gearing kick in as the order book converts into sales.Come on LPA!Wm
Re: 30,000 WANTED Well it's an ideal time to announce further orders then.
30,000 WANTED At 101 there are NONE repeat NONE to buyTiger
