YF Finance Limited Decided now to increase to +5%, interesting given their history.gla
Apols, It was $50m raise at 2013 IPO and then $120m raise from placing in the subsequent year plus (and some more on top again in more recent times?) ... So while debt may look ok ....caution perhaps required by the extent of fund raising so far ....(I did say errorful commentary by me and help here needed and much appreciated!!)PS: Malcay who, granted, has picked some dogs in his time but who over the piece, in my mind, gets a good few more right than wrong said a few months back:''I dont cover Lekoil (LEK) yet but hope to meet with the company soon - I have had a strong recommendation from an industry expert who believes that it has a strong story to present.''
Topped up now at 19p and would add more at 22p and 25p if it were to get there..Towards balance I'm thinking that they have an economic interest in 36% of the output only from Otakikpo (?) and so it's that share of the planned by year end 10,000 bpd. ( and same when output doubles in 2017.... which no doubt will require further funding to deliver .. but that hopefully from free cash flow from production from Otakikpo 02 and 03 ) If you take production/piping/shipping cost per barrel as $25 on Otakikpo that still leaves $20-25 profit pb on 3600 bpd by year which ongoingly adds up ... assuming they hit target output in tmeframes of course... and while some maty say the debt accumulated is more than hoped for so far and... might well be the similar going forward .. I say on a scheme of things it's not significant?Generally, Otakikpo will have been slower to come live than was hoped thus raising concerns about hitting output targets of 10k bpd by year end and 20k bpd by end 17 from same field, I guess. Also on top of listing raise of $120m a few years back the company has done placings and raised debt as it has gone along... but last placing was for OPL where the two licences are hopefully bought on the cheap from Afren (and one has proven resources already and so ongoing meaningful future output growth of the company looks secure)Also, of course, it's Nigerian Oil and all that comes with that...In five years time this could well be a 50k bpd output player.. the new Afren ... think of the share price increase potential from here to there ....just remember to sell out near the top !!! So bet on this at your own risk !! PS: I'd really appreciate some expert opinion on this bulletin board.. obviously my understanding is superficial and no doubt errorful?? Help please!Good luck to all holders
SP starting to wake up now? I know they've increased the debt facility a bit but at a macro level Is $40m odd USD debt on Otakikpo not peanuts vrs go live in a couple of weeks followed by10,000 barrels of oil per day output in a couple of months time? Also the cost of production of live oil is very low according to the company and they will double output from the same field in 2017. I think I'm on a real winner here but I have said that and been wrong sometimes before (I've said it and been right plenty of times before too though)If appropriate, towards a reality check, could some expert on this stock please tell me what I'm missing here?
Re: Email sent to Investor Relations On the LSE board it shows a response to a similar e-mail - or maybe even the below e-mail - to LEK IR that says they are on target for production go live in Q3.. so I make that only a month more wait, worst case. This SP will hopefully then up wake up off the back of this.
Re: Email sent to Investor Relations Obviously they are not worried about investor relationstclr
Email sent to Investor Relations -------- Forwarded Message --------I wrote a quick email...lets see if anyone is playing ball?!H1Subject: Share Holder Inquiry.Date: Wed, 17 Aug 2016 11:57:33 +0300From: [email protected]>To: [email protected] Sir/Madam,As a private investor in Lekoil I was wondering about operational update that could be forth coming via RNS to the market. In particular 12/04/16Otakikpo Operations UpdateThe RNS inferred that production would start by end of Q2 on well 002.... we are some time passed thisIs there some technical problems that need sortingroute to marketupdate on well 003 E1 & C5 zonesIs production on 003 well still on target for production by end Q3 (end Sept). Also is there any update on ministerial consent on our added % from Afren on OPL310.Your website pictures from Otakikpo are somewhat outdated is there some more recent photo's that can be uploaded so we can see some progress being made?Any comments on our rather low share price.I wish to thank the board for their continued work, communication is paramount in keeping us small PI's informed,as well as the market.I look forward to any communication and reply.Yours Faithfully,
Nigeria Delta Avengers ABUJA, June 2 (Reuters) - The Niger Delta Avengers militant group said on Thursday it had blown up two crude pipelines in Nigeria's Bayelsa state in the Delta area."At about 20am today @NDAvengers blew up the Ogboinbiri to Tebidaba and Clough Creek to Tebidaba Crude Oil pipelines in Bayelsa State," the group said on a twitter feed it uses to claim attacks."This is in line with our promise to all international oil companies and indigenous oil companies that Nigeria oil production will be zero." (Reporting by Ulf Laessing; Editing by Angus MacSwan)
from LSE BB very good news Thank you for your email.Although the renewed activities of militants (namely the Niger Delta Avengers) operating in the Niger Delta is a concern, the recent unrest and sabotage of pipelines has occurred on the western side of the delta. It is also worth pointing out that the militants have targeted infrastructure owned by some of the larger players (Chevron, Shell and Eni). Lekoil's operations at Otakikpo are very small by comparison. The Otakikpo Marginal Field is sited in the east where the situation is much calmer. Ikuru town is actually one of the most peaceful towns in the delta, and Lekoil has excellent relations with its inhabitants as a result of the company's ongoing community engagement and medical outreach programmes. In addition, and as Im sure you know Otakikpo is located in swamp land adjacent to the shoreline, the company controls all its own infrastructure and once it starts producing commercially the oil will be evacuated offshore to a waiting barge. This form of evacuation helps significantly with reducing the risk of pipeline sabotage. Finally, Lekoils security arrangements are managed by Leke Adedipe. He has 35 years of experience working in Nigeria and before joining Lekoil worked for Shell as General Manager Corporate Security. Leke monitors militant activities closely and at the moment he remains relatively calm about the perceived threats and militant activity in the west. Great to be on board here (If it's good enough for Onedb1 then it's good enough for me )A small position as a placeholder for me for now until I do some research.Generally, I see oil meandering to $70 pb over the next two years and so I will be betting on a good number of AIM Oilers in the hope that they all get somewhat swept along with the tide.. Of course some will make real waves and at different times to others. The real success is likely to be had by being meaningfully in the right names in the right windows. (While probably of little interest to all and coming with a serious government health warning my master play list is - in alphabetical order and subject to minor change as we go of course - as follows: Antrim, Bowleven, Hurricane, Jersey, Lekoil, LGO, Mosman, Petro Matad, Rose, Xcite )Good luck to all holders.
