Re: Tales of donkeys Dont worry Richtwo,You will not be the 1st or last, to identify those who are influential in our thoughts , and be guided accordingly, thats just human nature, and not a bad trait for each of us to know our strengths and weaknesses.Tommoo.
Re: Sentiment I think from memory (e&oe) that 62p may have been the high point, but that of course is immaterial now, for as the Irish put it so beautifully , ' we start from here ! ', and I was happy to take up my open offer entitlement, as I am positive for the future. It makes me smile that I did chose not to follow my fathers guidance, and gave a group of investors a tip, which did particulary well, but then in due course it fell back, and that group were livid, that I had not told them exactly when to sell !Onward ever onward NTM, dawn may well be breaking, after a very long evening.Tommoo.
Tales of donkeys Or do I mean Tails on the donkey? I must confess a little scepticism here, such as what profit needs to be at what PE ratio to produce such a price at such time however all is based on expectation but without DDs likely proper analysis where the rest comes from I have my doubts so don't take it too seriously unless you can afford to blow it. I must confess I lack the effort to do the proper research(is it really possible) myself. but then things may not get much clearer in this market for a while.
Re: Sentiment Well put Tommo... It's a great way to lose mates though.. and if you met some of mine... If they now believe again, averaging down to whatever extent they can/feel comfortable with may well be the way to go for the back in heady days investors here. Was this not 60p once - or was it 40p I can't remember.. - I'll not offer that in new money equivalent here as I don't want people choking on their tea.. suffice to say there is room for ''significant'' upside here !!
Re: Sentiment NTM,I know I'm going to sound like your father, but...mine gave me the following tip :-Never give mates a tip, as its a no win situation. If it goes up they conceive it as THEIR idea, conversersely if it goes down, you get the blame. Simply a no win situation.I'm sure you are ahead of me on this one.All the best and so far so good with KMR but it really is going to be a long term hold especially for those who invested in the 'heady ' days.Tommoo.
I was looking at Davy's report on Kenmare yesterday, and they had a Restricted Rating on them. Today they have changed that rating to outperform. [link]
Nice to Michu: As far as I can make out Nice to Michu, when you take consolation into account; ie. the new shares divided by 200, it would give the rights issue shares a price of about 0.05 pence. So lets say the middle distance between the new shares and the old ones would be, say 0.07 pence. But taking into account that the company will be more or less debt free and with some monies to keep going, there would be a good bit of upside priced into the shares, so I suppose that is why they are trading at around a penny today.
Looks like after consolidation that the share price will be around half a pence a share. I think that there would be upside from there.
what is going on
Forty one thousand pound buy just after the close. Trade price of 1.19
This is good news I think [link]
A fifty fifty split on buys and sells today. Half the folks think things are going to pick somewhat and half the folks think they are going to get worst. I would think that this shows that nobody knows what way it is going to go.

Hopefully the existing shareholders will be OK when it comes to the issue of new shares, and once that is done, most of the debt will be taken care of, and the shareholders will be left with one on the biggest Titanium mines in the world. We can only hope that the dilution will not be too bad, and as one poster who contacted Kenmare said, they have said that they will do their best to protect shareholders, We will have to wait and see. The big number is fifty million pounds that they must raise from existing shareholders. I would image that the majority of that will come from the big shareholders and after that lets hope for the best.
