Re: Interims Looks as if early trading today indicates continuity of recent SP strength so 3p is distinctly possible IMHO.As you mentioned previously, there's always the likelihood some selling will emerge into what has already been a very reasonable SP rise. The spread remains very large which may put some investors off. However unlike so many Cos Final Results, should KLN demonstrate its return to Net Profit this should boost the SP as well of course on the basis further growth is anticipated with costs still tightly constrained. So we really shouldn't see the 'rise on Rumour fall on News' story so common in AIM. This really should only be the start of a very significant SP recovery.B
Interims If as expected the half year figures are out this week we could see some informed buying ahead which may push the SP nearer the 3p mark. Any thoughts anyone?
Re: Thanks BOWOOD I think KLN will report their interims next week - possibly Friday and last year NBB announced at the end of August. Take a look at the share activity of NBB over the past couple of weeks. Something seems to be stirring and I wonder if it is the consolidation you mention - there seems to have been a lot of buying.GL
Thanks BOWOOD ,.....I hadn't picked up on NBB but had a quick look and trawled through their Accounts etc.On the back of greatly improved operating conditions in the Sector (well UK at least) coupled with their Corporate / Management changes, provided it is better focused, it could be set for a turnaround. My initial thoughts are that it's recent restructure didn't go far enough but to be fair their review of operations is clearly ongoing.I will do some further research but looks interesting. Could also be time for some consolidation within the Sector before prices are driven up by improved performance etc. Thanks again.B
Re: More evidence of strong recovery in Sect... Hays is good news and evidence that sector is improving. I have a small interest in NBB which is in the same sector, has a good brand but has lost direction over the past few years. Worth a look IMO.
More evidence of strong recovery in Sector More evidence of the strong rebound in the Recruitment Sector has been disclosed in Hay's results today where they report positive growth in all their market areas / segments including UK for the first time since 2008.Some analysts view Hays as somewhat of a 'bellweather' for the wider UK economy where clearly market conditions in recruitment have improved significantly in the past year or more which should boost KLN's awaited H1 figures due any day now.B
Re: Moving up nicely... Also the former joint Chairman buying back in adds a further tick in the box as he will know the potential KLN has
Re: Moving up nicely... I agree that we are now seeing more investor interest ahead of what could be transformational results at the half year stage expected anytime over the next 10 - 15 days. As KLN are now a recovery stock I had rather expected more interest if I'm honest - there's a strong case for a fairly big tick up in SP if the Accounts are consistent across income growth, market penetration and cost control etc.Allied to that, the longer term recovery for the Group (and its SP) looks excellent so I am somewhat surprised interest hasn't been greater. However it's almost impossible to get a firm online price these days as available stock is so limited.B
Re: Moving up nicely... Yes it's good to see interest returning and I think that the current level of 2p/2.5p will have looked a bargain this time next year.
Moving up nicely... ....on each buy,Up 28.57% on relatively small total money value traded today, but definitely has been spotted as a share to buy.m
Interims Could be this week and should be good. If KLN is on a growth track improved interims may well improve the pe, and even at 3p the mc will be less than £10m. Half year could show £300k plus and perhaps £700 for the full year.
Re: Recent Share Price Movements Former joint Chairman buys back in! Interesting I thought he'd retired to America
Recent Share Price Movements The awaited Interim figures over the next few weeks are likely to be the catalyst for potential movement in the Group's SP as outlined by previous contributors to this BB.So what was the volatility in the SP over the past couple of days all about driven it seems by some reasonable trading volumes (at least for KLN)?It certainly didn't hinder us that Michael Page group reported very healthy growth in its Interim Accounts - I acknowledge they have a significant International presence but c15% fee increases were derived from the UK where it earns c25% of Group profits. Positive news from other UK activities bear out the much improved fortunes in UK recruitment over the past 18 months.More promising Sector news which we hope will be echoed soon by KLN.B
Good day Must always expect a few sellers into a rise but nothing to worry about. Figures within three weeks.
L2 As of now...there is still only 200k shrs on show, on each side of the bid/ask.....only £3100 in total, spread over 4 mm's.On the ask side, the 200k is split, 50k,50k,50k,50k. - but the asked prices for the stock on offer are respectively now 1.7p,1.7p,1.75p, 1.8p.I see 1.60p was paid for £500's worth at 0935hrs today but I imagine any large lots will now have to pay well over the ask.NMS for Kellan is 50k and mm's are sticking to showing only this lowly amount. The very lowest bid is 1.15p, as one would expect, but this is now almost the same as the highest best ask that could be bought only a few weeks back, so a few folks have been spotting the opportunity here..... and all on pretty much miniscule £££ amounts.Imagine the noise if a ii want £50k's worth for a micro-value trust etc.,.....where would those 3.2m shares, at today's mid, come from and at what price!m
