i agree, i think it is being watched more so than ever because of the publicity it has had this time
i think it should be different this time because they are looking for extent of diamonds and diamonds not just diamond indicators like other times
Re: Big Stones Pipe 21 I realise that the chances of a viable mine are very slim... But the volatility offers a chance to make a buck or two. If it does turnout to be a decent bearing area the these will rocket.
prof conroys other company was called conroy gold and diamonds and was in finland before kdr was formed, the 2 companies seem to work closely togeather, now conroy gold is back in finland again,if diamonds are discovered it will fund the other co without having to sell kdr
Re: Big Stones Pipe 21 A 1.1 carat stone, found 17 years ago does not demonstrate that this is a kimberlite that has commercial potential - especially since a production plant can cost $50 to $150 million to buy and install before operational costs to mine the ore...This necessitates a large pipe/kimberlite and a reasonably high level of gemstones of good size/quality per 100 tonnes of ore.Personally, I won't invest in KDR as the risks are too high, the projects are too long term and there are better options nearing full production such as DCP and FDI.
back in jan when they found the kimberlite they were confident that they were within 100 mtrs of sourse if not on top of it,that time it didnt get much publisity, this time its hitting the papers and the news.....why....because i think the prof knows more..
Re: It's an uphill struggle............. Seems as if we did get the Kimberlite find I mentioned in January.... My holding in DCP is up 36% at present. Averaged out on KDR at 158p so I still have a few pence to go until breakeven. The big question is reduce holding or stay put and take a £3000 risk?? Very volatile and speculative... I may just have a touch too much exposure.
Re: 3p Close! I suppose what's significant is it is the first find of kimberlite in 10 years there. But on the Russian side of the Karelian Craton they are already producing diamonds.... So why not on this extension of the area???? It's not as if it been found in a totally unproven area. My opinion stick with it... Yes 3-5p maybe possible on speculation alone. If it does turn out to be viable ... Who knows how high it could go. So strong buy for speculation factor...
if the diamonds are there then surely the agreement with rio will be next step and let them mine it,cant see kdr mining as they are exploration not mining co
i hav to agree,as the rns states, its a major step forward, and i think they are fairly confident about what the findings will be.im in here the last couple of yrs and im holding for a while longer, this share is going only one way....
Re: 3p+ Close! I don't think so... But if the Kimberlite find turns out to be diamond bearing then maybe even further over the weeks and months. The news will definitely lighten up the intrest in the shares... About time too. I'm near breakeven now. I'd say strong buy... But beware of fall back.
3p+ Close! WOW!!!!!
9 exploration claims covering 789 hectares, primary exploration targets gold and copper
yes,i noticed, they were granted 9 licences nov 2014 but it seemed to pass over everyones heads, there has been no update on it since
hi all,we have not heard anything yet about the samples that were sent to the lab ages ago and why have we not heard anything about the 10 tonne sample that they were goin to do last year, loads of things we could do with updates on....
