Big jump today Any news why this had a big jump today ? Well big jump for this SP
Hi speed fibre optic 4G Hi speed fibre broadband .... have just seen a comment on VOD (Vodafone) board that Hull is now going one of the UK's small group of cities that are going to be 4G compatible very soon. What sort of effect will this have on Kcom's Hull business?

Big Trades Is anything going on here? or just my wishful thinking !P
O K Com(pany)? Ever since this firm sold out a division and erased long-term debt, it has been on my radar to add to my other regional telecom (Manx) in my pension fund.In Friday's post Brexit vote chaos it obliged by falling under my £1 target figure for a while. It is to be hoped that the strictures involved in keeping to a promised 6% yield for the next two years will prevent the Board running up significant debt again and build some retained profits.PB.
Just scraped this from Research Tree: "KCOM has delivered prelims to March in line with expectations. The year was transformative in achieving the £90m disposal of the national network while maintaining profitability and investment in East Yorkshire and reassessing the national business into enterprise and SMB-focused reporting streams. With financial capacity to invest in growth while retaining the ability to comfortably accommodate pension payments and the dividend, KCOM can look ahead positively..."
Re: Dividend Thank you. I'll ring my broker to find out wot's wot.Cheers
Re: Dividend It was paid 1st February lecastel. I received payment.
Dividend Wasn't there a dividend at the beginning of the month? Did everybody get theirs? Mine hasn't shown up yet which is slightly worrying. It is the first time it has been a problem.
Re: Sells ? Since last Jan this has been my best performer by a country mile.......summats in the wind....However - My 'B*gger about' part of portfolio is still down 63% overall.Just goes to show....errrr.....should have put more than 10% into KCOM BANG OFF !! FRTEB - Hope you didn't short......GLAJG
Re: Something in the wind! No, it's because I tipped them and has nothing to do with flatulence.
Re: Something in the wind! With the sale of network and reduction of debt I guess they have become attractive target for BT etc.?
Re: Sells ? FRTEB also thought this a strong sell at 85p ("...And for the record, IMHO, this is a Sell." since when they have risen 40% in less than a year.Storming performance (and coupled with a very healthy yield).
Re: 80 to go in Kcom "AVOID/SELL 40p target buy...a long way off tho late 2016.. "Yet another fantastic contribution from 'lambrini girl' and his supposedly fool proof 'machine' which makes share price predictions. The shares are up over 35% since he shared his wisdom with us. What a clown.
Re: KCOM Group looking undervalued? Albent,That's a very interesting site to which you provided a link, and one I'd not seen before. As an aside their "street view" of the KCom HQ begs a few questions!
