Re: SP swings Only time will tell. With production increasing all the time and copper price on the move upwards, it has plenty to go.. look at the historic dividend.... Anyhow, no crystal balls in this game only judgement. Mine maybe wrong, yours right.. but lets see, dont get wrapped up in the chart. May the force be with you Darth

Re: SP swings I dont agree the cracks are in the ice so to speak the reason it was down 80p at one point today is its had a excellent run since last summer and the johnny come late brigade £5 plus are the nervous holders who got panicked out today then panicked back in.It will happen again until it finds a bottomi expect it will settle around 4-450 by the time the summer is out.Thats still a 100% gain plus over the year

Re: what happened? It has happened across the board. The massive tree shake- before Trumps' next week speech.

SP swings Basically no big deal, I would use these dips to buy more if you are an investor. The momentum is with this stock no question given the plans and the results it is delivering. For those who think its too expensive at £6 then I simply don't agree, look at the PE and the it does not take a maths genius to work out the forward PE, in my view it looks attractive all the way up to £8+ Invest and sit back, it will reward. Best of luck

Re: what happened? A raid to get the stop losses perhaps? Climbing back up again now, thankfully. I got some FXPO at same time! £5.28 now. What a strange occurrence- gave us all a chance to bag a bargain?

what happened? War broken out? major fraud revealed? Kazakstan annexed? Copper price crash? Now sitting at £4.94. I tried to catch the knife with a few at £5.10! Tempted again at moment. I thought results looked great, progress excellent and future bright! Someone else thinks a shorting opportunity bonanza.

Re: Look out, hold on tight! I'd think Kaz results will be reasonable, if not good. I cant see any nasty surprises causing the price to drop.

Look out, hold on tight! KAZ Minerals PLC ("KAZ Minerals" or "the Group" announces that it has produced its first saleable copper concentrate from sulphide ore at the Aktogay project, consistent with the Group's most recent guidance for output to commence in the first quarter of 2017. Shipments of concentrate from Aktogay are expected to begin imminently. The Aktogay sulphide concentrator will now ramp up with the target of achieving commercial levels of output in the second half of 2017. Production guidance for Aktogay in 2017 will be issued along with the Group's full year results announcement on 23 February 2017. Oleg Novachuk, Chief Executive, said: "I am delighted to be able to announce the commencement of copper concentrate output from sulphide ore at Aktogay. Both of the Group's major growth projects are now fully operational. Our production continues to grow strongly and is on track to reach 300 kt of copper per annum by 2018, with around 80% coming from our new low cost, open pit mines."

Re: Trend is your friend Lack of bb chatter is only a good thing imo. The more populated the board, the greater the chance is that you've bought a turkey. GKP, RRL to name but two examples... Happy to simply hold for the time being. I usually lose more by trying to be a clever d ick and trading in and out. Mind you, I sometimes don't have the best record for taking profit when I should, either

Re: Trend is your friend I held my nose and bought these at sub200p. Very happy I did, I just wish I'd put more in! I have quite a diversified portfolio and its very rare I get a multibagger... so quite happy to see this offsetting the losses I'm taking on the Co-op bank bonds!!I don't really see the point in selling as they are just a small part of my overall asset allocation and unless I become overweight ( not likely given the small holding) I won't be tempted to rack up trading costs in trying to make timing trades.Tops
