Re: New FD A bit more about the new CFO - this from the JQW website - updated Board of Directors"Francis Chan Hein HueyChief Financial OfficerMr Chan has over five years of experience in the auditing industry, having started at Crowe Horwath (Malaysia and later International), Audit Alliance and One Assurance LLP. During his tenure with these companies, he has been involved in numerous IPOs in the UK and Japan. Mr Chan has also had previous experience working with JQW, having worked on the Company's IPO process in 2013 where he had some exposure to JQW's management team. He is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Malay. Mr Chan joined the Group in September 2015."We did not see this in yesterday's RNS -" During his tenure with these companies, he has been involved in numerous IPOs in the UK and Japan."
Re: New FD Wildcat2 I agree with your thinking this is good news and I have topped up.
Re: New FD Silver Panther - I can't see that his age is a problem. The important thing is that he's qualified here in the UK, that he knows the company well, and that he's bilingual. Hopefullly he'll travel back to the UK regularly to meet analysts and investors. The language skills are particularly important since the CEO Peter Chen speaks no English. You say the company is 'high risk', but from a balance sheet point of view it is a CFO's dream. No debt, huge wedge of cash, and awesome cashflow.
New FD He's 25? Don't want to be ageist about this but really? Must have acquired a vast amount of knowledge in a very short time to be able to guide a high risk public Chinese company into safe waters...
new CFO RNS good news - CFO appointed
Re: OMPs out? waytogo - at some point these OMPs have got to run out of shares to sell! The problem is there aren't a lot of buyers, because we are a Chinese company and all of that. So clearing out this overhang is taking forever. It's interesting to look at the trades over the last 3 days. There's a batch of 400,000 sells today for 10.5 pence at 10.45 am. I'd reckon that is the market makers selling OMP's stock to themselves. which they then sell on to buyers at an average of about 11 pence. If I'm right that's 10% of the overhang announced on June 6th gone in a day. Who knows? But at some point there's going to be a shortage of stock and the price is going to rise bring in sellers.
Re: OMPs out? Still some blocks of 100,000 and 150,000 sales going through, but seem to be matched by buyers.Notice a £21,000 buy earlier today..........
topped up 9.8p Nice of the share to drop a little for a bit of a top up.GLA.

Re: 2p dividend could... It's probably sensible to be pessimistic about the dividend here. I've been following Chinese companies for for a while now, and they very rarely surprise to the upside with dividends.
Re: OMPs out? Rick43 - thanks for that. So 4.8m shares in the hands of the OMP's 3 months ago. There hasn't been a lot of trading over the summer, so it's possible they still have a significant part of these positions. But with higher volume yesterday and hopefully in the weeks before results we should finally get clear of them. We should thank those OMPs for giving us such a great opportunity for buying shares cheaply here.Even with the OMPs out the free float will still be small - only about £4m-worth or about 20%? So plenty of scope for rapid share price rises if iThere didn't seem to be a lot of stock around yesterday. I could get net none online so called a broker who could only get me 20,000. I tried opening a spreadbet on IG but they had stopped taking long positions. There's plenty of publicity about JQW today, if you try searching 'JQW' on google. So I think we'll see more demand for the shares on Monday
2p dividend could... see JQW above 20p by month end. That would be great!!! Broker news 30p!!!!
Past 10p nice Not bad going. not too many sellers price is rising fast.
Re: OMPs out? As at 2nd June RNS, the two OMPs who have been selling this year were down to 2.7mn and 2.1mn respectively (down from 10mn each at admission) so it is just possible they are both completely out by now.and this from the 30th April Finals"The Board is disappointed by the share price performance of the Company since the 2014 interim results were issued, and feels that the share price has been disconnected from the positive financial and operational performance of the Company since admission. This has been caused in part by share disposals by a number of the overseas and early stage investors who have realised returns on their original investments." [link] worth having a look at what the group Chief executive has to say about regular dividend payments in that Finals RNS
Re: Interims date A dividend would really give the company credibility. there is a real shortage of shares as I can not get live prices to Buy Just £ 1000.00Look good now.
