Re: Keeping mine ! Could not agree more city watcher. I also see these on-going and timely updates, as a positive new approach to communicating with shareholders. Maybe this shake up is just what JQW needed to get their house in order. Feel even more confident now, to keep holding.
Keeping mine ! Sorry, but I'm not going to sell up just yet ! What's another 2 or 4 weeks ?
RNS rading Update19 October 2015Further to the announcement released earlier today, the Company has been informed by the local Administration of Industry and Commerce (the "AIC" of the results of their inspection last week. Whilst the AIC is satisfied with the remedial work that the Company has done to address the issues concerning the Company's systems and filters raised by them last month, the AIC requires the Company to carry out further training for the new staff that it has recruited to strengthen its website monitoring activities. The Company expects that this additional training will take place over the next two weeks. In the meantime, the Company's operations remain suspended. The Board welcomes the increased investment in the training of its employees which will further increase the Company's long term effectiveness.A further announcement will be made in due course.
Scam? Sir SinghYou may be right, but then again you may be wrong? If its not a scam its seriously going to move up from these levels.I have bought back in at 6p with what I can afford to lose so lets see..Mav
Scam So obvious.
270K buy- Nice That is confidence for you by some one brave or stupid.fingers crossed for Monday.Have a nice weekend all.
Could we see the 10p... it was only one month ago, before the update arrives? Interesting times. Hold on guys.
Re: 1p Dividend That would be nice................either way, I'm sure it won't be long until we find out whether this was a shrewd investment, or we've been taken for mugs............
1p Dividend Would be good for long term holder and to get some credibility back. I still feel there is a solid business in the background. We will know soon.
Pure Gamble downward pressure Fear driving the weak out and causing the downward pressure.I will not be selling at these prices at a loss.I will be topping up at below 4p which will not take too long by the looks of it.
Re: 1p soon? "this company has 24p in cash"Correct that to:"this company SAYS it has 24p in cash"A company that has 24p in cash doesn't sit at 4p and keep going down. This is a total scam and will be delisted in the next 6 months in my opinion.
Re: 1p soon? Until we get the RNS confirming that the site has re-opened potential buyers of this stock are going to be cautious. Hopefully we'll get that RNS Monday October 19th.In the meantime there are plenty of reasons why there might be sellers - over-leveraged holders or just holders who've decided they want out.So I think you're right that the SP is going to be remain under pressure. But this company has 24p in cash and until now it has been very profitable. It should recover and it would be a mistake to dump share this low, IMO.
Re: 1p soon? No, you're right it doesn't. There's no real catalyst to move it in the opposite direction at the moment. You have to keep reminding yourself of the cash position of the company, to help you decide whether to 'keep the faith' or bale out.A lot depends on how many existing subscribers go elsewhere, due to having the website down for a month. That is what will make the big difference in my opinion.
1p soon? This is not looking good.
Re: Lock in expiry I'm not suggesting they would want to sell their 80% holding at that level of discount. However, we've seen extreme downward pressure on the share price with low volume sells. They could offload a relatively small % of the stock and cause the price to collapse further; If they were to do that then they could equally make an offer to take the company private for next to nothing. There are no majority shareholders (other than them) to contra any such offer. As close to the business as they are, they also have complete control as to who is awarded contract work from JQW i.e. they have an alternative means with which to extract income from the company. I'm not saying any of that is likely - but it's not inconceivable. We've seen some original investors sell earlier this year prior to their lock in expiring - which on paper seemed like a very unwise move.
