Ashley... Who....? how much, is he being paid £700,000 ? pa !!!!! not worth K70.pa....imo..he was supposed to rejuvenate this company for the benefit of shareholders...he has not done this ..he should go.EARTHLY

Radio 4 Saturday 11/7 Interesting discussion by Ashley Highfield on the future of print. He says the decline in sales of print has slowed considerably and that putting the price up doesn't lower sales numbers. He and the other editor participant both agreed that there will be always a place for local print as a source of information and local news. Ashley sounded confident as well as competent. Worth his £700K.

Optimism I have a Sharescope page that shows Johnson Press making a profit next year with vastly decreased debt...so perhaps the optimistic tone in todays announcement of results soon, is justified ?? catch everyone by surprise ??
