New broker note Haven’t traded - buying more on weakness looks the best option. JLP hadan agreement to sell Quartzhill for £5 million if memory serves and Colin made out it wasn’t worth selling at that lowly price, although he had previously championed it as a good deal when the company were cash strapped. The thoughts at the time were that depressed pgm prices killed the deal. Since then Rhodium and Palladium have soared so it may come back and maybe at an increased price.
New broker note I thought that too mccarthycraig, but today’s price action does suggest that Kalan was right - with people taking profit to chase some of the other stocks which have become hot to trot this week. No matter, I’ll add some more JLP this week if the pullback continues. I think it’s premature to talk about Tjate at the moment. Maybe once the price of Platinum gets above $1100 an ounce. However I wouldn’t rule out Anglo Plats taking out a small piece of it at Quartzhill farm since if memory serves me correctly that could be opened up by driving an adit or two from Anglo’s adjacent mine. Much much cheaper than sinking deep shafts, building a processing plant etc, and of course now that JLP are established as the tailings Kings in the region, there could be an attractive deal for both parties with JLP offering a reduced sale price in exchange for the right to process Anglo’s tailings. Plenty more news to come here without that though and I’m here for the divis which Colin Bird mentioned in his interview today. ATB, Tot
New broker note kalan JLP just bought out the Hernic plat rights for cold hard cash! Now is not the time to trade for the chance of a couple of percent. Traders beware, an out of the blue RNS (not always 7am as we have seen) about the chrome option, Windsor even tjate could blow the doors off.
New broker note I think we could see a bit of weakness in the sp this week (sell at 4.15 and buy back at 4p may be possible but is it worth the risk?). Further opportunity to add before next weeks update (if it is next and not this) is probably the better option.
New broker note Have to agree that England were awesome and I’ll be staggered if they lose to the Boks. Wales could easily have beaten them imo if we had stuck to our normal game and not persisted in those box kicks from the scrum half. The one time we got it out wide to the left we had a try so I think the blame must lie with Mr Gatland, and I feel for the players who now have to endure the dreaded third place play off which nobody wants. In the meantime we have much to look forward to here following Leon’s excellent interview with Proactive and the financials which should be with us next month. JLP is now my largest holding in value terms of the 12 stocks I currently own an I’m looking forward to seeing a 5 in front of the share price in pretty short order, and dare I say it a maiden divi in a year or two. ATB, Tot
Lift off! Great interview and presumably recorded over the weekend, so ‘next week’ could be this week unless it was recorded this morning. Agree that anyone would be mad to offload stock now, especially with another set of financials to look forward to next month. I’ve added another two small tranches today in addition to the two last week. Bring it on Leon!
New broker note Agree Kalan, England even scored 5 of NZ’s points for them by a momentary lapse in the line out, otherwise they would have been pointless. Not saying anything about the final. I was a Jonah for the six nations so I am keeping shtumm!
New broker note Wales and South Africa - nothing in it - could have gone either way - pity. England were awesome and the score flattered NZ IMO. The final is another day but IF England play like they did against NZ then there’s only one winner. IF.
New broker note Cheers ToT A very clear and concise read. It will be interesting to see the next one once they have the further info and can put that into thier earnings model. I cannot see JLP remaining at this SP for very much longer, and there is a strong possibility of going to double digits within a few months IMHO. Well one out of the two teams into the final in the Rugby isn’t bad, though I guess you may have preferred it the other way round? glta dk
Lift off! Proactiveinvestors UK Jubilee Metals to see 'significant step-up in earnings' with Hernic deal Jubilee Metals Group PLC (LON:JLP) CEO Leon Coetzer speaks to Proactive London's Andrew Scott following an agreement they've reached with Hernic Ferrochrome Pty Ltd to acquire 100% of the rights to earnings from the current and future tailings... Leon talking about how investors have not grasped the significance of the new Hernic deal. And from 7.30 onwards he mentions he will be updating investors NEXT WEEK on the Windsor project (with a big smile on his face) Is this the inflection point he was referring to. time to top up or hold if you can. Defo not a time to sell!
Lift off! Leon also seems to be getting the hang of doing deals that enhance income. Delivery on projects is almost guaranteed with Leon the helm. Couple that with profitability and we have a rosy future.
New broker note …just put out by Shard. jubileemetalsgroup.com Shard-JLP-25-10-2019-.pdf 280.45 KB Have a good weekend all and may England and Wales both win their semi finals. Tot
Lift off! Couldn’t agree more DK, except my candlestick chart shows that at the close today not only did the sp break through recent resistance, it ended on very close to a two year high. Looking at the three year chart I can see a very clear bowl formation playing out with the top of the bowl being the Tjate mining license spike at around 7.5p. That could well play out within the next three months or so imho. Then if you are a fan of cup and handle formations I can forsee a sp or around 12.5p by the time the handle has done it’s stuff, perhaps in the latter part of next year. I was on the road at 7.45 am and was dissapointed that the order I placed was not filled until 8.20 am. Later on I stopped in a layby and bought another small tranche taking my holding up to 1.5m. Must admit I was slightly disappointed at the sp reaction today but perhaps slow and steady is preferable to a spike and retrace as we move towards those all important financials next month. Jubilee has now moved from a jam tomorrow stock to becoming a cash cow and the future direction is very plain to see. What a lovely thought to take into the weekend… ATB, Tot
Lift off! ToT/Kalan We seem to have ticked up at the close of play today so that we are now back to our 12 month high to close out the week. Very positive RNS yesterday which the most significant statement for me was that the $5.1M had been paid out of existing cash resources, which must surely point the way to where this company is now going. The RNS is really good for JLP in the long term, and I think it may be only a short time before we get confirmation on the Chrome which would be the icing on the cake as far as I am concerned. I can see this as the last chance to get in before the SP seriously starts to rise, and I think Kalan’s previous assessment of testing the 7p plus high of a couple of years ago is quite easily acheivable, and we could even go to double digits if the results are good and other deals are announced. I remeber two years ago that there were many calls for CB to back-off and let Leon get on with the job. I think that CB has done exactly that, as it has been a while since there were any of those cringeworthy two hander budget hotel room conference calls. Colin has gone off to try and progress other opportunities which may also link in to JLP, and has left Leon to do what he is good at. We are on the cusp of the delivery of the shareholder value now, the next twelve months could well be awesome for JLP and its shareholders. glta dkok
Speculative Buy HI KALAN Notice you name you have been around years on Jubilee . When did you first buy them. Do you just hold or have you been in and out over the years .
