Lift off! e-mailed JLP about the quarterlies but no reply yet. Topped up with my final tranche this morning as the large trades were reported. my team beat yours to relegation ToT - my son made £2000 on bets for Cardiff and Rotherham both to be relegated. Ah well - double promotion next year. Going to Wakefield this Friday jaytee and hosting 5 Middlesborough fans this Sunday /Monday at ours for the final match - might see them make the playoffs at least. I think they are looking forward to the top quality real ales on offer at £1.85 a pint in Rotherham more than they are the match lol. Up JLP!
Lift off! Well it certainly seems like my football team is going down Jaytee, but looking at the trades this morning JLP might be about to get promoted, despite hanging on until the end of normal time to get its quarterlies out. Looking at level 2 one market maker increased its bid to 3p at 114, another at 11:58 and a third just now at 12:42, so those large late reported trades must have been buy orders being filled imo. To summarise we currently have orders for 650k on the bid and only 150k available on the ask at 3.20. The big question is whether this fixture is going to go into extra time before we have a result, and a possible buying frenzy. Off to complete a job on the boat shortly so the RNS will probably come out this afternoon now GLA, Tot
Lift off! Not been to those parts I’m afraid, well not for social events anyway. Wakefield is the most southern point of my social and working network at the moment whilst I dodge out of going to Hull… Is the retirement doo for Cardiff City’s exit from the Premiership lol ? Have a good weekend everyone and look forward to this stonking rns next week or that’s it for me with JLP forever.
Lift off! No need to get impatient jaytee. A Monday RNS always goes down better that a late Friday one. I was just enjoying the banter about beer, mountains and Geology, having also visited Malham, climbed Ingleborough, and walked under Thornton Force. Can’t recall the outdoor pool in Ingleton though Kalan, but it was back in the early seventies and I think I’ve lost a few brain cells along the way! Off to a retirement do in Cardiff shortly so that’s me done for today, but looking forward to a stonking RNS on Monday. Have a good weekend all, Tot
Lift off! Have they lost the report I wonder ?
Lift off! I have a half pint mug in the cupboard from the Hope Valley beer festival - was being driven down Winnats pass when my daughter phoned (lives in High green) and by coincidence she was in Peveril castle and could see us from the top. Called in at the festival - 3 years ago I think. was in that pub /café in February this year and ate outside as it was so warm - walked to Castleton up Mam Tor, Hollin’s Cross, Back Tor and Loose Hill and back to Hope for lunch with my daughter. No my pseudonym is what my wife called me on our wedding day ‘I take you Kalan’ - so technically we might not be married- the first letter is her initial and the rest is mine. She was nervous - probably wondering what the heck she was doing.
Lift off! Kalan I’m a Sheffield boy myself and the Hope valley was my playground as a youngster. The pub in Hope had a real ale festival on over the Easter weekend. Much Old Peculiar was partaken of, along with a few others. Sam Smiths Teddy Porter, hmmmm! The first letter of your Psuedonym wouldn’t happen to be your phonetic surname would it?
Lift off! Ah the school Geology trip to Malham - takes me back - not far from Ingleton - we did a mapping exercise of the River Twiss area on the Ingleton Waterfall walk - Thornton Force, the Snowy falls and the Beasley falls if I remember rightly and not to forget the oolitic limestone of the Yoredale facies. Holding hands with Luscious Lynne so that she wouldn’t fall as we descended the valley. Happy days. Have taken two trips of school kids to Ingleton as a teacher too - the outdoor pool was an experience plus taking 20 lads up Ingleborough. Had a late lunch in Barnsley and my first (and last) old time Wurlitzer organ recital but the nice real ale made up for it. No rns but hey ho it’s all a matter of time. Time for a nap.
Lift off! Can’t beat a good pint of Brains SA Jaytee, but sadly they seem to have far less pubs than they used to so I have to go into Cardiff if I want to sup it these days. Sampled Sam Smith’s for the first time on the school trips up North I mentioned above and very nice it was too. Can only get it around here in bottles though so not quite the same. Going out for the afternoon now so the RNS might just emerge now Tot
Lift off! Nice to see the posters enjoying some real ale. Not sure if Brains is real ale down your area ToT. I’m a Sam Smiths guy myself. The owner Humphrey Smith is a wierdo but the ale is good and very very cheap. Now where is the JLP RNS
Lift off! That’s an amazing co-incidence Kalan as I first encountered Old Peculiar on that trip too, and got another taste of it on a subsequent field trip to Ingleton in the Pennines. The Hill Inn up near Ingleborough stands out in my memory, and I paid a return visit on the way back from the Lake District a few years ago only to find out that it was closed for the day. Highly recommended though if you find yourself up that way. I concur with your assessment of the metals and once Platinum breaks that one year high at around $925 it should really be off to the races, with more hot money coming in here on the back of it. ATB, Tot
Lift off! Palladium looks like it is on the 4th (down) wave of a 5 wave pattern that should take it to $2000 and Platinum has rested back after breaking out of a very long downtrend - both look bullish to me. Had my first pint in Derbyshire in a pub in Hope at age 17. Theakstone’s Old Peculiar. Only an hour from where I live - used to catch the bus out there from Sheffield.
Does anyone have the video link for jubilee metals at UK investor show
Well done Breezy, I sold my 2.4p buy at 2.7p to see it sail on to 3.45p today, I'm not too miffed as it was only a grands worth. Your 2.25p top up was very well timed and you deserve some change in fortune. My Jubilee profits now cancel out my AFC losses, but I won't be selling any JLP for at least 2 years - unless we get a silly spike to 20p+ and then I just might.
so, can we get to 15p by end of 2019 ?
