Just got back from lunch to find 3.92 on the screen - what a difference a day makes. I think the Sibanye purchase of Aquarius has triggered a bit of interest in the Platinum markets. This can keep pushing north for me. My last top up at 3.9p is almost profitable again.

3.89, now JSE is not keeping up

So it's actually ahead.

JSE is currently 3.68 if you convert it.

Not seeing the same gain on the JSE. Only up 1.3%

Morning Dude - there is a shed load of activity across the mining sector this morning. I'm not complaining as the further this moves away from 2.8p the happier I will be. I'm in for the medium to long term or until it gets into the 20's (if that's possible in the short term) and then I'll be taking my profit and departing. I have a lot of losses to make good and then I'll be out of here. All the best idg69

Strange days - this has just pulled back considerably on Google finance.

What has caused the sudden interest in mining and oil stocks since the 29th Sept - have people just realised they are all a little too cheep.

What's going on here this morning? Just go to show how quick it can turn. Look at Lonmin - would you have put your house on Lonmin at 15p? probably not, but you'd have doubled yer money in just one week. I'd like to see a sustained and stable rise with JLP but I'm sure everyone would. Fingers crossed it keeps it's momentum. GLA
