Finished listening to yesterdays webcast. I wish a few institutional investors would put JLP on their radar as this would drum up some wider interest. There's no questioning Leon has done a mountain of work over the last 2 years and is continuing at a fair pace to bring more revenue streams in to play. I'm happier now to just watch this tick up gradually from here on. I'm not a fan of big spikes, they attract the quick buck merchants and I don't think this is what JLP are about. Fingers crossed for some good financials when they are eventually released to the markets.
Was away yesterday and couldn't listen to the webcast live. Just catching up now and it all sounds pretty positive. Tjate isn't going to happen anytime soon though and probably 2-5 years unless they sell it in the meantime.
I hope the chuckle brothers don't muck up this live webcast on Tuesday. I'm not convinced they are that good an idea to be honest. They raise more questions than they answer and because of market sensitive information, they can never really say what is going on. They'd be better off spending their time putting out factual and accurate RNS's or engaging a decent PR company to get some news out into the market place (but not Bell Pottinger)
Hi Breezy, yes very dormant on the JLP front since the short lived excitment back in March with the Tjate license. I'm up 40% and just shy of £4k on JLP but seriously tempted to sell up and move on some days. The BoD are just fuelling more confusion to the market with every RNS they release. Just give us some profit & loss info so we can see for ourselves if progress is being made. I could also do with some cash out before the new year if possible. Difficult decision, as having held for over 2 years now I'd kick myself if they did eventually come good. All the best, idg69
Hi idg69 Been ouite on the jlp front so not posted for a while. Great rns but again they have not given us any numbers. The share price is not going to move untl they prove they making money. I still think we will have our day so holding on to my shares. All the best breezy.
Hey Breezy, long time no hear. A good RNS and another step in the right direction but where are the financials? No one is going to invest with big money until they can see JLP are profitable with a solid future ahead of them. Too many investors are sceptical of Colin Bird in my opinion. Leon is a great operations man but they need a good strong front of house Chairman who people will sit up and listen to - CB isn't that man. Still prepared to sit this out as painful as it is. All the best, idg69
I thought it was a positive rns but it seems the market does not agree.
Exactly Seakelp, K does it all the time he is such an open book... And then he tells us how the grandkids made 10%yesterday!!!!!
Afternoon Breezy, Another cough and splutter this morning but pulled back throughout the day as is the norm with JLP. CB spreads himself too thin with these companies. GLR went from 1p this time last year to 10p in March, May & June this year but none of his companies can sustain and maintain momentum before dropping off a cliff. JLP has the potential to rise from the ashes and become a solid and profitable business but fear it will be pumped and subsequently dumped when it does eventually gather momentum.
Exactly.... Vote of no confidence same as Zuma... Must go!
