Topping Up It’s shouldnt make much different, but it can in volatility. I never rush, so a couple of days won’t make panic to buy today. If it suddenly shot up, hey-ho I’d survive. There’s other suff I’d be interested in adding. I’ve also got ITE’s corporate action to cough up. That’s a similar play on EM.
Topping Up Yes xd is the 28th, div is only a penny though, would that have much effect? The fund’s top ten holdings make up about 25% of the fund. So there are a lot of holdings. I feel that tells me that any price movement in either direction would be slow, but then I am a fund newbie.
Topping Up Same here, I’ve considered buying. Goes ex-div next week I think, 28th, might have a look again then and compare where it is against HFEL & AAIF. It may go down further, buy on a long term view it that an issue? Just scale in.
Topping Up Considering it. Started my sipp not long ago and would like an emerging market fund. Trouble is, is this one going down further?
Topping Up Anyone brave enough to open or top at this point? DL
Re: falling price Like many of my investments, it is hovering ominously below the 200 MA.As is FTSE100.
Re: falling price Yes, the fall could be seen as alarming but it is typical behaviour of this stock. Look at the graph for the last year - overall a rising price with periodic corrections. I don't consider this to be under-performing at all - 20% annual growth and 3.75% yield. If the downward trend persists and goes below the 200 day average then I'll reconsider. For now I'll hold and indeed may top up on this weakness. Thanks for drawing it to my attention!
falling price Last week I had this under performer marked for a sell if it hit its year high of 139 -it was close at 138.5 bit its now fell over 5% in a week with out a similar fall in NAV and a dividend coming up next weeIs it just one of those things or is this common with JPM trust
