Target price raised to 45p (for now...) Broker S P Angel has raised its target price.'We are raising our target price to 45p from 37p on our expectation for a higher ilmenite product price for the project. The increase in the resource is also good news and we will also be looking to adjust our valuation further on confirmation of production volumes, costs and a number of other key factors in the forthcoming Feasibility Study. Our valuation is based on our calculated NPV value of project cash flows discounted at 10% and with a further discount applied for market risk.'

Excellent RNS 400% increase at Dundas project.I know that sp usually drops after fantastic news - that should be a great buying opportunity for those not yet onboard - otherwise this will hopefully start making a slow but steady climb north in the coming weeks and months.Z

One half OT.If you guys shouldn't know:Theres actually a (Dundas/Thule) JAY area play out there.One guy in another board made me aware that ALBA holds ground drirectly adjacent to JAYs Dundas.Which, as I mailed Bluejay, Rod said me actually was once owned by JAY.Not really sure how to judge this thing in summary.The "early indications"(mineralisation) are pretty good I'd say.From my impression they COULD be "onto something similar", like JAY.But that you have to look step by step.[link] I don't like so far is that they've "that much things" in their portfolio, and no idea how they've set priorities, within.No "summary" judgement, so far, but I'll keep an eye on, sure.GLTAL

sp I find this Sp most frustrating It often tempts 25p and then falls back.There is a good volume of shares being traded every day and yet we cannot seem to breach 25p

Re: ilmenite resource increases seasonal... Hi Mack,Mother Nature indeed. But I still would like to know some simple data, some very basic explanation as to how it all works. There must at least be an approximate figure for what that 'increase' represents. And therefore what it approximates to in terms of tonnage and ilmenite extraction. Someone must know this very basic information. Tried various searches on the net and drawn a blank. One way or the other I'll get an answer - not sure how long it will take but statements on their own are worth zilch unless they are backed up with data, with science. I have a load of these shares in an ISA and SIPP so want to make sure I have as much information as possible to help with mid to long term strategy. Easy option would be to chuck it all into a managed fund and lose a large percentage of the risk element - namely, me!Z

Re: ilmenite resource increases seasonal... I am afraid you are dealing with Mother Nature here: she is rather hard to quantify or predict to the nearest decimal point, but, generally speaking, she appears to be being very kind to Jay shareholders

RNS. Good news surely. HSBC now holding above 5%. Is this a managed fund? Not sure what or who they are or represent? But surely by building up a greater stake in JAY, is all round good news, if you believe or accept their judgement in having done so? Been quite a bit of stake building this year so far. Bodes well methinks.Have emailed JAY for an explanation of the statement about titanium oxide resource 'increasing seasonally' - I hate statements like that without some kind of plain English explanation and reasoning to back it up. Not sure how good or efficient they are at responding to small PI's?Z

ilmenite resource increases seasonally?? Bluejay state on their website that the ilmenite resource (Greenland) 'increases seasonally.'Now that sounds pretty wonderful....but what exactly does it mean in terms of percentage, and other related figures? I can't find any data that substantiates this or explains it in simple terms. Why does this happen? How does this happen? What does it mean in terms of profits and percentages of product to tonnage etc....Anyone shed any light on this?Z

Re: Valuation Yeas Mackackoo, Indeed.But perhaps most are in waiting for confirmation mode.We have seen some really great models of the boats, but what is missing today is an RNS with the update resource and some clarity about the Disko path. Offtake agreements even?Perhaps next Monday then?Good weekend.
