RNS and Malcy's Blog Independent Oil & GasNot unsurprisingly I suppose but IOG has announced that Darwin has sold all of its subscription shares pursuant to its loan and has converted the remaining balance into equity. With no fees or change in interest rates it seems that even the debt providers are doing all they can to get the company over the line at the moment.

RNS Positive rns with what looks like a very good chance to secure sufficient funding and support for this drill to go ahead.20% rise this morning so don't write this off, it has good management which is essential in these circumstances
RNS Good to be kept updated before end of month
Extract from Malcy's Blog yesterday Independent Oil & GasNot a good couple of days for IOG as the major player they had been talking to with regard to financing appears to have walked at the last minute. I have had a long chat with CEO Mark Routh this morning and whilst inevitably disappointed the team are not going to lie down and are actively seeking replacement funding. There is much to be done to keep the Alpha deal alive, to secure the continuation of the licences and to repay the Darwin loan all due in the next couple of months. There can be few managements I would rate as highly as that at IOG and I hope that their tenacity will pay off and something will come of the major discussions that are continuing regarding a funding event.
