Re: Shares Magazine The resignation of Geoff Pleon from Iofina is in my view not good news. He is a founder and major shareholder in the Company but also has other interests.Rather more important than what shares magazine said when the Company was riding high a little over 12 months ago.

Re: Shares Magazine Certainly oil is non core to IOF (they are not producing any), but the company relies on water used in fracking to extract iodine, so without access to water with dissolved iodine salts, how can they produce iodine?BB

Re: Shares Magazine Yes but that is non core, iodine is there main product.Waterfill is a way of increasing production of oil so is beneficial to oil companies, they are hedged so no immediate impact and even if its cut back american oil production will continue at a lower level to balance world oil supply.Henry Kissinger comments interesting this morning

Re: Shares Magazine Goofy,I imagine that the main concern is the oil price: extracting oil from shale is expensive, IOF gets the water from the American companies that are involved in this, and these companies are likely considering shutting down their operations as the process is becoming non-commercial.BB
