Re: MM setup Oh I see. Nothing to do with the forward fundamentals changing then, as a result of the budget.

Reg_S 13 Jul 2015

MM setup seems MM's set up small investors for failure, as the attractive dividend lured in then sudden massive drops despite a persistent buy rating.

Re: Sold I dont think there is any big issues here Currently I am in a loss - But Nothing to worry about - this will bounce back I agree there is limited information at the moment - but the only reason this has gone down is bse of the budget annoucemnt regards the Levy - considering the fact that renewable energy, cutting carbon foot steps, green this and that etc ..... is the in thing at the moment and govt's backing this as well - with time this will pull back.Just have to be paitient ... Just my 2 pence ....

Re: Drop Infinis to be hit by levy changes StockMarketWire | Thu, 9th July 2015 - 084Infinis Energy has warned earnings will be about £7m less than expected in the year ending March 2016 and £10m-£11m in 2017 due to the Government's decision to scrap the Climate Change Levy exemption for renewable electricity generated after 1 August. The company says CCL has been a key component of the renewable support regime in the UK since 2001 and all parties in the renewable industry had understood that phase-out would not commence until after 2020. Chief executive Eric Machiels said: "The announcement of the government's intention to discontinue the CCL at this time was quite without warning. We are disappointed by the several recent changes to the regulatory framework which will disincentivise long-term investment in the build-out of new energy infrastructure in the UK. Infinis generates low cost, reliable, renewable energy and we now look to the government for regulatory stability."

Drop Any ideas why there has been such a large drop since just before xd day? Was there anything in the budget to spook?

Re: reason for rise? There are/were 2 things keeping the SP depressed in recent times - Terra Firma's stated intention to sell off their 70% holding, & the Tories' aversion to land-based wind-farms. Not sure anything has changed in TF's position, but maybe they've found a buyer at a good price & people in the know are cashing in. Otherwise, the Tories stance seems untenable with this latest G7 pronouncement so maybe that is a factor, & investors are suitably encouraged & now confident enough to take the good dividend yield currently on offer. Whatever the reason, I can't & won't complain - this was the only share of mine that has gone down since the election, & now that seems to be sorted, all I can say is hoorah !
