Re:Toyota link very good news [link]
Toyota link [link] article, wonder if there's any connection to IKA's JV with Toyota ? No names, etc...TP
Re: Finals Had a small top up this morning. Rude not to at these levels. Put away till next year when I'm sure we'll see an even more positive set of results, and hopefully more positive public sentiment))TP
Re: Another possible use for our battery tec... The energy required for the additional systems, especially the LED lights, would I think be a relatively small drain on the battery compared to the motive energy requirements of the electric motor - there may be benefits to the wiring and installation that may make the localised power beneficial though. As an architect I know that LED lights are already changing the way we think about access for bulb replacement in that the light is likely to last as long as the time before a general refurbishment / refit so approach to design changes. localised power shifts that again.
Another possible use for our battery tech techno fox Car battery life will be vital in the future for battery technology, which got me thinking?all led lights on any car are powered the main car battery, however to reduce the main car battery power drain and extend each car battery driving range could all these extra power demands like indicators wipers be powered by its very own built in battery.
Re: Finals Too true! I remember well the time we were flirting with £1 a share, shortly after I joined. I think people became dissatisfied with what was perceived as slow progress. Interest waned and the inevitable slow slide began, and has continued to this day.I would hope that this set of results may invigorate interest, but lack of early volume makes this seem unlikely this time around. But you never know, a few folk, scanning around after the first flurry, might just spot the renewed potential here.Good luck, TP
Re: Finals Indeed. We need something to turn the direction of the sp trend though. A look at the three year chart is pretty depressing. This does have all the makings of success but the big step needs to become visible...
Finals Good set of results. Increased revenue, reduced losses, and for those who think IKA just o mini batteries, have a look at the list of patents and projects Ilika is involved in, and some of the majors involved.Bodes well for the future.TP
Re: Volvo announcement is turning point I think Volvo and France are jumping on the bandwagon a little. We know it has been building, we know that the climate change agreement was a threshold and we know that Trump is basically being ignored for his fossil(ised) view of the world. this also from another poster on ATYM[link] aims to build 12,000 centralized charging/battery swap stations and 4.8 million scattered charging piles across the country by 2020 to meet charging demand of 5 million EVs in principle of 1 vehicle to 1 charging pile. Regionally, the EV charging stations that have been built are primarily concentrated in eastern provinces in East China, North China, and South China, of which Beijing, Shanghai, and Qingdao are the cities with massive construction of EV charging stations in China."
Volvo announcement is turning point techno fox The move to an all electric car world has started in earnest with the Volvo announcement, this is also the firing pistol on an inflection and turning point for investors. It is time to start moving away from oil based shares and technology and into shares based around electric and hydrogen based cars and technology .All electric or hydrogen based cars and battery technology companies are going to be a good way to play what will turn out to be a huge global move and opportunity in the global transport system, it seems to me ILIKA is perfectly positioned to play a major role here for investors as the companies technology covers all angles and they have shared battery patents with Toyota?
Re: RNS - patent grant Well done farmer, you've obviously read this bit"Whilst our solid-state battery programme is our key focus, our materials discovery platform is generating innovative, patentable materials with a variety of applications. "))))))TP
Re: RNS - patent grant Hmm patents for hydrogen fuel cells ? Seems non core but interesting ......
RNS - patent grant Ilika seems to be moving along nicely but with a very low profile. SP continues its downward trend. Needs to get some attention and I suppose this will only come with news re some break through application in a public/general news worthy sector rather than industry type news.
