Re: Grant funding grants - pants - we need turnover and profit - dead simple. Hope this does not turn out to be another IQE.
Grant funding Received for developing protected anodes in Li batteries. All grist to the mill.TP
IoT, battery tech. I keep seeing Ilika' name cropping up on Proactive Investor, Director's Talk, IoT related articles, Li talk, etc., etc. There's definitely something brewing here on the battery front. Can't be long before we get an update on progress.TP
Directors talk IoT to become a big thing in 2017. IKA set to benefit.Interesting read. We need those batteries to go into commercial production !TP
Resource Investor article [link] know if link will work, if not try copy and paste.Interesting comment on Li, electric cars, etc, etc,
Re: Don't let .... I was going to write something along the same lines, TP.It can't be long before there's a company-making deal finalised.Good luck with your investment(s).
Don't let .... ....the financials fool you. The results are not good if you're an anylist looking only at the financial position of IKA. But if you care to look below the surface you'll see progress on the tech front which belies the financial frailty of this progressive company. Today's drop is totally uncalled for and I, for one, will be buying more next week at these prices.Luck all, have a nice weekend,TP

Re: Don't know if ..... Interesting article - the understanding of the nano scale world - particularly in chemistry is a constantly evolving subject, ilika have developed a way of rapidly testing these novel products being discovered - indeed the team has specialist knowledge of the surface action in Chemistry. Will this make money? Well, they have launched a range of batteries in the last month, they are Working with industry leaders such as Rolls Royce,Toyota & of course ARM.These companies sometimes make a fortune, sometimes get bought out & sometimes fail. It's fair to say, with a product just launched that ilika has a better chance than most, researchIs good, but at some point it has to be commercialised / or those scientists keep on looking!FLU, DYOR - in fact the websites a good start!
Don't know if ..... The guys at Ilika have seen this or whether it is relevant to their work...[link] of "Don't Panic" on AFC board.TP
Re: ARM working with IKA We even have Mr Inglis on the BOD., he is on the BT board ( newly appointed)An extract " Mike is currently a non-executive director and chairman designate of Ilika, an AIM listed materials technology business. He is also non-executive director of Pace plc and an independent director at US-based Advanced Micro Devices. Until March 2013, Mike was on the board of ARM Holdings having joined the company in 2002 and held roles including chief commercial officer, EVP and general manager of the processor division and EVP sales and marketing. Prior to joining ARM, Mike worked in management consultancy with AT Kearney and held a number of senior operational and marketing positions at Motorola. So, it's possible that not only ARM, but all the other companies will now hear about Ilika too -it's just that we have found this a little bit sooner Maybe that will stand us in good stead?FLU optimistic dyor.
ARM working with IKA FROM LSESeems to me that IKA and ARM are working together on the new battery technology just launched. This I think is quite significant to have Arm in your camp and adding input to it's possible uses.ARM is a big successful outfit and they obviously have knowledge of what the future holds-so for them to have linked up with ARM is a huge vote of confidence of what they must see as a multi million dollar opportunity or they wouldn't bother. Bought some more yesterday as I think that share price has a long way to go and I expect licencing deals will out very shortly.

Ilika Well, let's hope there are more up days than down, sat here so long - got * rse ache!To be fair the event was as well flagged as an event could be.On 29/4 the boss is presenting in London too.Ilika is definitely a clever group of people- just depends on how many other clever people have been working on this too - maybe they get bought out?
Re: RNS Yep, as I said, Shirley !Only one way....LOLTP
