Placing @50pStrange how the sp has dropped 10% to well below the placing price.Also disappointing that shareholders are not being given the opportunity to take part (unless I've not read it correctly)However, we do need the cash to get the product to market !TP

solid state thin film batteries 1-3 billion techno foxthe year 2021 is also the year when Moore's law comes to an end in the big semi chipset companies and so OEM's and every man and his dog will be looking for ways to keep extending the life battery life of mobile devices, as Moore's law ends and with energy gains made by shrinking chipsets drawing to an end the new focus must swing to other technology areas like solid state batteries.[link]

Re: Tesla and batteries Looking around the solid state scene it's obvious IKA are not the only players. Other scientific organisations are making good progress with solid state batteries, so we'd better get a move on with our commercialisation otherwise we risk being pipped at the post.Still have faith but I would like to see progress/sales/revenue, etc soon.Luck allTP

Tesla and batteries Whilst there is no direct connection with Tesla, anything that gets the public thinking about batteries has to be a good thing. [link] like, as usual, Elon Musk is making a big noise about a small change, a little refinement to existing technology rather than a new way of thinking. This is the same method as Apple used. Their scale makes it harder for the innovative ( perhaps inventive is better) small companies to enter the market but it is clear that as various parts of technology mature, batteries and power storage as a broader concept will be key to the next wave of performance improvements - faster and longer being the key metrics.
