Crucial level ! Resistance to be broken ? Moment of truth . On the verge of a breakout or take profits time ! At least this set up gives a great RR (risk reward ) as if resistance is broken you go long and place a stop just below, whilst if you sell and get this wrong you can buy in again on the break out reducing risk all along . Win win ! Name of the game is to keep losses at a minimum not to go for the big win big loss scenario

Re: Heading towards 600p When you look at basic TA objectives , the current range bound bottom rectangular gives me a target higher than 600p ! I have published my trades here and been long ever since. Average of 513 ( add the divis to that too and am very happy with my £xxx/point stake. As I said from day 1 of this trade , i do this for a living and am aware of my odds in favour or against . The TA and when to take my losses. I remain happy and Long and on a break out of about 560p am of the opinion that it will see my 4th slot of my total trade allowance per share maxed . Just takes time but IGG is a clear trade on volatility . and with French and UK elections this helps. Traders need volatility after all. Flat markets / moderately trending are only good for the buy and hold investor .

Nice end of the week Am quite happy with this range bound area so far , will be happier once it passes 560 Plenty of volatility potential ahead which will give lots of wind to the sails of IGG. Moving towards the top of the range ( 560) , a break would be very bullish if confirmed with volume too. But a break should be traded in my view. If we get there . I have 1 more of my 4 positions max to add here .

Re: Election it always does Muzzletoff . Quality always prevails. As I posted a while back , we are in a congested area. With a clear support and resistance sideways market . Great for swing trading at the moment . Once we get a break out am hoping it will be on a break away gap and strongly start a trend to return to previous highs . Am still averaged at 513p so happy days for me .

Re: Election I am long of IG. sadly a bit above the current price.I know there is a regulation cloud hanging over this stock which has damaged sentiment, but to me this will be a temporary phenomena, as this is a premium company in its sector, with an excellent ROCE, a decent dividend, and good cash generation.Surely quality will out in the medium to long term?Glad to see shareprice ticking back at bit.

Excluding the divis I received am just 1p down , (overall up thanks to Dividend obviously )We need to close the gap ( 514.5 to 520 gap) ,

Still Long chaps long consolidation here. I was hoping it would break out to the up but not yet . Am av at 513 ( though that excludes the divis I got ) So am more or less at break even bar the holding costs. Bit of patience I suspect and return to more volatile markets will help IGG . But the fundamentals and divi are not to be snubbed . If a pro is buying stock this is the time they are doing so . Accumulation occurs in long quiet consolidations . Once its over ( if its happening ) the market will move . One thing to watch is volatility ! Most broker forecasts seem to go for a consensus that is much higher that current value. Even subtracting for bias that target is higher than 500 substantially. Long and patient
