Re: Pen. Hi OneI've not been in the Barbican library so can't vouch for its facilities, ut maybe worth a try if it's close to you.4.5 hours is a really excessive exam length. My MBA finals were only four hours long.My next task is getting better at short-term trading. I keep getting told that it is not difficult and, with the right mindset, i should do okay. But it's either a question of confidence or that I overthink things, I'm not yet having any great success.The MTA2 book is quite a handful...Good luck!

Re: Pen. Hi GamesYes, Murphy was my starting text and I think I have now worked through it cover to cover four times. It's the main text for the two STA exams, so I read it During each course and then again for revision for each of the two courses. It's very clear, straightforward and doesn't wander away from the main core elements of TA theory?So I really recommend it. If you pick one TA book, this should be it.

Re: Pen. Cheers Pen, I probably just went to the public library without realising there is a private area in the BarbicanAm currently away from my screens and studying in Fulham library . Great job on your qual. Congratulations . That is a great achievement . Lots of work and dedication on your behalf . Hedge fund next ? MTA 2 is a pain . 4.5 hour exam and am behind schedule so need to crack on. Am a bit worried lol .

I got the MSTA with distinction and am also a CFTe as well.I don't know where you are based, but there's a public library at the Barbican (EC2) which houses the STA TA book collection.[link] might be quiet for studying. If you're a member of the STA, you can join the library for free. I don't know what they charge otherwise.Pen

Re: Pen. Hi PenIt's my MTA exams . I hope to complete them by Oct 2017 .Am on level 2 . I hope to then continue learning but first thing first as these books are huge and I don't want to fail . So far so good . Then am getting to learn Python . You all good with yours ? Completed ? Am off again to study soon 8.23 now . Just need to think where I won't get distracted . So useful in my view to study for these exams . Best investment ever . Plus not many are qualified
