Re: Definately something This explains it.Intelligent Energy Showcases Light-Weight Fuel Cell Stacks For UAVs at InterDronePublished on Wed 7 September, 2016Share Intelligent Energy, the UK energy technology company, will be flying a hydrogen fuel cell powered UAV at this year’s InterDrone conference, which will run from 7-9 September at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas. The company will be welcoming visitors to Intelligent Energy’s stand(301) and will have its hydrogen fuel cell powered UAV on display, along with some ultra-light weight fuel cell stacks to demonstrate to visitors just how light the technology is, especially when you compare to a battery.Julian Hughes, Intelligent Energy’s Commercial Director, commented: “The team and I will be on the stand to talk to delegates about our latest lightweight fuel cell technology. We are very excited to be demonstrating the UAV in flight.UAVs are one of the most exciting new technologies but even with advanced batteries their value is limited. For commercial use, they need to offer better flight times and range. That could all become possible with our range extender platform. A longer flight time coupled with a quick re-fuel opens a wide range of new commercial possibilities for businesses such as UAVs for inspection of offshore platforms, search and rescue, high quality aerial photography, precision agriculture and parcel delivery and more. This could completely revolutionise the potential of UAV technology.”Intelligent Energy will be showcasing one of the UAVs it has adapted with fuel cell technology in the Yes Fly zone at 11.25am on Thursday 8 September and again later that afternoon at 3.35pm so visitors can see the for themselves the UAV in flight.Julian Hughes will also be speaking on a panel at the conference entitled ‘Take Charge – Battery Innovation on the Horizon Panel’ at 9am on Wednesday 7 September, where he will focus his discussion around the benefits of fuel cells, particularly for the commercial arena in terms of offering range and longevity. To find out more about Intelligent Energy’s work on light weight fuel cell stacks for UAVs or to book an interview with Julian Hughes at the event or post InterDrone, email [email protected] information on Intelligent Energy is available at Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn. Re: Definately something well after my post ealrier i was in a meeting so this was a nice surprise on my return. Going away for two weeks and know i will be annoying mrs Global even more now by checking the sp constantly

Re: Definately something Thanks Global, as per my reply to the last post, I sorta did that. I'm a fiver and 550 shares up on the day, all that happened in an hour. As you say somethings afoot whereby a new confidence exists today, who knows about tomorrow though?

Re: IT'S MASSIVE! Bunged in 500 quid hour ago and pulled out 505 leaving me with 550 extra shares in IEH. Long way to go to recoup 2.5k losses but a good start. If this pup hits £1 share i'm breakeven with my new tranche

Re: Definately something reader61 - look at the cahrt and decide if now is the time to average down. I have done so ver the last week and made a lucky buy this morning too. my average is around 16p so earlier i was still 50% down. Suddenly that has changed. But the rise is becasue of some knowledge somewhere - needs to be an RNS later.

IT'S MASSIVE! Could the upcoming presentation reveal all. Love the chart. Bottom fishing!

Re: Definately something Glad you do but I've been stuck in it for a year with nothing but pain and a 2.5k loss.

Re: something stirring Must be some forward progress on a deal or perhaps more funding based on the angel seeing a future?

Global Nomad 08 Sep 2016

something stirring a little more sp activity than we have recently.

Re: where are we now? Be courteous for the company to update us though wouldn't it! I expect the business angel that invested £10M or whatever it was must be feeling worried, I bet they are getting briefed. Mind you sometimes those loans are tax write off's anyway,if the company fails the sponsor saves what would have been tax anyway, if it succeeds the loaner has a high quality problem of more cash but in an AIM with Business Property Relief so no tax to pay.

Re: where are we now? exactly Raynard, previous experience as a guide, I am happy to take a risk on technology but there needs to be enough there to take a risk on. Will watch and wait.

Re: where are we now? Ten job adverts on their website[link] suggests they are stabilising and see a future? If they survive then surely they are worth more than the current Mcap? But am also wary of a wipeout after previous experiences with these tech companies.

Global Nomad 23 Aug 2016

where are we now? Anyone have any ideas about how the company is doing? Feelings about the Sp after being essentially flat for 6 weeks. no cost options and price monitoring aside we have heard nothing more - not sure if this is a good or bad sign. waiting for something that will allow me to decide on averaging down or writing it off.
